SLOW
Tee time scheduled for 8:49am on a Saturday but didn’t get off until after 9:15am. We had to wait on every hole and the ranger driving around didn’t do anything about the incredibly slow group 3-4 holes ahead of us holding everyone up. Eventually left after 5 hours since we were only through 12.

Great Sporty Course
I enjoy playing the rolling terrain at Cary Country Club. Several tees are significantly elevated and you get great views of the hilly vistas. Course was in good condition considering the recent drought. Always a fun time to play at Cary.

Great course to improve your game
I love this course in that the layout as well as the pace of play allows me to thoughtfully work on my overall game. I never feel pressure to hurry up and hit, thus rushing through; and at the same time I do not feel that the pace of play ever drags. There are very unique elevations that definitely come into play, with a few greens being blind on your 2nd (or 3rd) shot. Fairways are adequately marked with distance and are usually cut clean. There is no step cut, so it os either fairway or rough. Selfishly, I do not want too many people to know about this gem for fear of over-booking! LOL

Good course
I was pleasantly surprised by this course. It is short but there is a lot of elevation changes which makes for some interesting shots. The course was hard and dry but that was because of the lack of rain. The greens were smooth and quick. The pace of play was not good (we played in about 5 hours and were waiting on every shot). Overall, it was a good day on a fairly nicely maintained course.

Getting cart keys
I really like Cary country club. So I got membership with my friends. But we have problem getting cart keys. It’s 5 man and 7 woman so we need 7 keys total. But manager’s giving us only 6 keys and ordering us to devide to 3 groups. So one man has to play with 3 women. . We don’t like this but It’s like we have no other choice.
We like this course a lot but begging 7keys every time is too much.
They probably do it that way because you're not supposed to play as a fivesome. It's inconsiderate to other golfers on the course.

Nice Outing at Cary CC
Cary CC has improved greatly over the last few years. The hilly course makes for some beautiful holes. Tees and fairways were good. Rough was a little long that would gobble up balls. Green were decent but hard as rocks. Impossible to make a dimple or ball mark on them.
