Nice course
Nice golf course with some elevation and is well kept.

I love this course. Pace of play is always stellar and the layout is fantastic. Just the right amount of water and the fairways are forgiving. Playing in December in the midwest usually means mud and dirt patches everywhere, but not here. Turf was in great condition for winter golf, and the greens were not too spongy. I love the elevated tee boxes, and the layout is just challenging enough to have to think about your shot and club selection. I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for an enjoyable day of golf.
The rolling terrain is awesome
A beautiful old course with elevation changes unlike any other course in this area.

My home course
These are the best people in Cary, IL. Everyone at this course treats you like family.
The course is challenging but fair. Distance is very reasonable, but the tough greens make up for it. They take better care of their course than most of the other courses around, yet the rates and extras are much more reasonable.
Few things in life make me as happy as playing a round here.

Perfect weather
A few glitches couldn’t spoil a great weather day. This course is somewhat difficult to find for the first time.
No starter at first tee , so a bit confusing as to when to tee off.
Pace of play was a little slow.
They have a nice bar and we met many nice people
It’s worth the drive.

Playful greens keeper
I loved the lay out. Fairways and 2nd cut tough to distinguish. Greens were very good, just some very tricky hole placements ie onside of hills, 3 putts of mine stopped 1 inch from hole and then rolled away 5 or 6 feet, one of them 15 feet. Even with all of that we still enjoyed the coarse and the day.

Arrived about 40 minutes ahead of tee time and they sent us right out! My son and i really enjoyed this course. Pace was awesome, never had to wait or got pushed. Finished in just over 3 hours. Some fairways needed some work but no complaints. Very nice vibe...will definately return!
Elevation Supreme
Could use some attention to the course and the clubhouse especially but overall it’s a fantastic value. Elevation is best in Chicago
Most Unique In The Area
This track was one of the best hidden secrets I’ve played in quite some time and I am one willing to travel any distance to play great courses. The elevations from hole to hole was the best I’ve played within the suburbs of Chicago. You can tell it was once a true country club with showers in the bathrooms etc but the clubhouse definitely needs a major upgrade. Overall this was a great bang for the buck and I will be back for sure.
Hidden Gem
This course has been around forever. I play it at least 6-8 times a year. The layout is great. Many holes have a fantastic view because of the level changes. Pace of play was excellent. Finished 18 in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Greens hold great and roll quick. Only thing lacking is choices for lunch. Pretty much a dog, brat or pre made sandwich. Highly recommend golfing there if you get a chance.
