About
Klein Creek Golf Club sprawls across acres of rolling prairieland in the western suburbs of Chicago. Trees frame the layout's gentle doglegs and tall prairie grasses border the fairways. It is a golf course that offers both beautiful scenery and a challenging round. Several lakes also dot the landscape, coming into play on almost every hole. The abundant water hazards are often coupled with spacious, intricately designed bunkers that are also usually paired with wood retaining walls. Contoured mounding frames the fairways and greens as well. Klein Creek Golf Club's layout is not easy by any means but it's fair, offering room for error on even the tougher holes with wide fairways and generous landing areas. There are a variety of approach options for the greens as well, providing great risk-reward opportunities.

First Time
Not a real long track, but great layout and challenging mix of holes. Friendly staff too. I would definitely come back. Great job Klein Creek team!
Love the Updates to the Course!
The Klein Creek Team has made some great changes to the LP course. The sand in the traps is a significant upgrade and very soft to hit out of. The staff is great as well. Happy to hear that other changes are ongoing to improve the course. Will definitely play at Klein Creek several more times as it is a fun and challenging course!
I came back
I came back after finding they’d renovated the course after it had fallen into disrepair. Mixed reviews, still no good practice area, practice putting green was considerably slower than greens on course.
They have done some work and are heading in the right direction. But it’s still pretty shaggy out there and the greens are uh, well not great, but they rolled true even though they need some grass. Converting some bunkers into waste areas, but that’s not always super clear. Had to take a couple drops from GUR, but there’s been no reason and they’re old.
Still tight and loose off the tee is costly. Big greens, Better know how to lag.
I’ll read the reviews, but other courses in the price range in the area are in better shape.
nice track
Great course for our group, 4 some that live south, north and west, it’s right in the middle. Nice course, fair but challenging, number 2, 9, and 18 will test your mettle. Great after round options for food and drinks.
New and Imroved
You owe it to yourself to come back to Klein Creek and check it out if you haven't been here since the new ownership took over. Not only great changes to the course but also to the clubhouse, restaurant and overall atmosphere. I have been coming here for years and couldn't be more excited about the upgrades. And the staff is as awesome as ever.
Awesome course
This course was a surprise. Beautiful course with all the amenities. Lots of water, but very playable. This course will definitely be in my normal rotation going forward
Great Improvement
New owners. Lots of improvements Back to the course it once was
Changing for better
Fairway and green conditions were very good. They have replaced most all cart paths that were in rough shape before with a type of gravel and are now pretty smooth. They also redid most sand traps. For the price it is a good course. Looking forward to the additional improvements.
Great Value
We played in under 4 hours. Course conditions were excellent. A nice challenging layout.
Challenges - On and Off the Course
A challenging course with water in play often, but an enjoyable round, for sure. Our good vibe was temporarily derailed by a not-so-nice homeowner on the 16th hole who took exception to a golf ball played NEAR - not INSIDE - his property line. He kicked the ball into the fairway and cursed at us. Mind you, the ball was still “in play” - but I did save par, just to spite him!
Lots of fun
Beautiful course with work being done to put in new bunkers. Staff clearly care about the beauty of the course and it’s a challenging round with water incorporated on lots of holes! Would play again.
fun times
Gathered with a group of friends for a Sunday outing. Friendly hospitality. Only downside was that the greens were a bit bumpy.
