Klein Creek Golf Club

Better than a year ago but still in need of a lot of work

Much different from years past.... New carts, manicured course, new restaurant and pier area that has greatly impacted the after golf experience. Staff was super friendly & helpful & the food was delicious! If you played here in years past, I highly suggest you come back and take a look at the changes!

First timer at Klein Creek and I really enjoyed it. The layout was fun, especially with so many difficult par 4s. They are replacing some bunkers and the course is still under some maintenance, but it was a great track. It seems dried out so the fairways and greens playing so fast added another challenge to an already tricky course design. Would definitely play again.

Staff was very nice. Course very challenging even from the white tees. Hard fairways with BIG and sometimes unpredictable bounces, and hard and fast greens made it very difficult. Could soften things up a bit so its not so punitive - even on good shots (or I could play better). Overall a nice find.

Course in good shape, new management improved sand traps with whit sand. In general greens where true. Staff were friendly and outside grill is nice

Greens in horrible condition don’t think they water the course at all

Have played this course over the past several years and love the improvements under new ownership, especially the sand traps. My friends and I have always enjoyed playing this challenging course and even more so now with the improvements made and those still going on. Would definitely recommend this to others and we will play here several times this season. The pace of pace of play has been very good as we finished 18 holes in ~4-4.5 hrs with Sat AM tee times.

I figured with all the renovation and new ownership they would have been better, but I couldn’t of been more wrong.

I’m not sure if they just never use the sprinklers or water they’re greens/fairways at all. The ground was so hard a fairway shot I had literally took a chunk out of my club head.

Trust me I enjoy a firm challenging course but when this was more comparable to a mall parking lot. Save yourself the stress and headache and just pay the extra 10 bucks for a different course.

Not a real long track, but great layout and challenging mix of holes. Friendly staff too. I would definitely come back. Great job Klein Creek team!

The Klein Creek Team has made some great changes to the LP course. The sand in the traps is a significant upgrade and very soft to hit out of. The staff is great as well. Happy to hear that other changes are ongoing to improve the course. Will definitely play at Klein Creek several more times as it is a fun and challenging course!

I came back after finding they’d renovated the course after it had fallen into disrepair. Mixed reviews, still no good practice area, practice putting green was considerably slower than greens on course.

They have done some work and are heading in the right direction. But it’s still pretty shaggy out there and the greens are uh, well not great, but they rolled true even though they need some grass. Converting some bunkers into waste areas, but that’s not always super clear. Had to take a couple drops from GUR, but there’s been no reason and they’re old.

Still tight and loose off the tee is costly. Big greens, Better know how to lag.

I’ll read the reviews, but other courses in the price range in the area are in better shape.

Great course for our group, 4 some that live south, north and west, it’s right in the middle. Nice course, fair but challenging, number 2, 9, and 18 will test your mettle. Great after round options for food and drinks.

You owe it to yourself to come back to Klein Creek and check it out if you haven't been here since the new ownership took over. Not only great changes to the course but also to the clubhouse, restaurant and overall atmosphere. I have been coming here for years and couldn't be more excited about the upgrades. And the staff is as awesome as ever.

This course was a surprise. Beautiful course with all the amenities. Lots of water, but very playable. This course will definitely be in my normal rotation going forward
