St. Andrews Golf & Country Club - Joe Jemsek Course

Always enjoy playing this course. Weather was great and staff was very friendly. For an average golfer, it's great. Cost is very reasonable. Holes run from easy to moderately difficult.

Excellent 36 hole course with a practice area second to none. The cart paths are smooth, the bunkers have real sand, the greens and tee boxes are in perfect condition. A forgiving course on most holes so if your ball flies just out of bounds you can easily find it most times. My sons and I try to play this course 3 or 4 times a season. Worth the drive from Oak Park.

Every upgrade is well worth it . Need to put in some trouble on some holes. Need index slope higher. DECIDE.. one course is the “tough” course from both white and blue. Other tees just leave. One course being a real length and dangerous trouble, in great condition, you get whole new respect and play from low handicap guys. Auto cutting machines all greens and fringes sb perfect on one course at least. It’s a value play now bu kinda a low hurdle play. TURN ONE INTO A REAL TEST. More PLAYERS… will always go to challenging tracks. And your value price could be higher.

Range is fantastic. Live next to Cantigny and come here. Add sprinklers on East side. Washroom in maintenance shed . One Very clean multi gender toilet over there. Kids, seniors women. Need it and it will payback huge. Women everywhere now need that over there. Seniors too. Maybe pop/water machine. I love St. Andrews and it improves all the time.

Get 1/2 inside bays and tech so your pros make money.. you make money and golf addiction spreads with St Andrew’s their yr round go to. Even very low + cappers.

There was no need for the course police to tell

Us to speed up play. We were waiting on the group in front on several holes. I don’t need the stress on the golf course. If I see a pattern I will play elsewhere.

Rough is way too long! So many lost balls.

Kids behind us hit the ball 2 inches from the cup while we were putting! Hit my friend in the head!

Took us 5 hours and 20 minutes to play!

I just can’t believe what a ripoff this place is. On a weekend they charge $65 for the tee time, the $22.50 EACH for the cart. $45 for the cart after $130 for greens fees for 2 players. Then they pile people out every 6 minutes. We had groups ahead of us giving lessons on the course, hitting 2 and 3 extra balls. And the ranger just watched and drove on by. It was such an awful experience. I will never play St Andrew’s again.

40 min wait after the 1st hole. After that 10-15 min wait on every hole.

The course is fairly straightforward, with some good par 3 holes. Not overly challenging if you can hit it straight, but fun for the average golfer.

4 groups basically on one hole ranger drives around and does nothing Don’t get it

Got a nice Hot Deal which doesn't include a cart at this course, but it was cart path only due to several days of hard rain, so we all walked. This is an old style course with short distances between greens and tees, so eminently walkable. The course was in great shape except for some of the traps which were wet from the overnight rain. Lots of mature trees and sand traps, fair greens and several strategic water hazards. We played from the shorter gold tees which made it fun. They have the best practice facility in the Chicago area, and had a nice $6 brat at the halfway house and a couple of beers in the clubhouse afterwards. Pull carts were $7.75 which seems high and drive carts are not cheap either. Otherwise highly recommended.

Had a really nice round, course was in great shape, beverage cart well stocked and canned by every few holes. Good value for money.

The course is in great condition and the price was second best in the area! Loves it first time playing this season and I will be back !
