Flagg Creek in crestwood
Booked on TeeOff as a twosome. They told us that we were gonna be paired with another twosome, who were two 15 year old amateur golfers. Then the ranger comes to tell us that we need to hurry up on hole 1.. Mind you we teed off 5 minutes before our tee time. How are they gonna charge $20 for a cart and then tell us we have to play faster. Just threw off our whole day.
The course is in great shape moderately priced the pace of play was horrible over 2 :40 hours two foursomes ahead of you on the tee box .

Great public course, fun layout
As 9-hole courses near the city go this one is great. Very well-kept, pace was very good for a Saturday, and the layout was more interesting with hills and doglegs. Great course for a beginner looking to start play some tougher courses.
Play the correct tees please
My friend and I walked behind a foursome of not-very-good golfers in carts who slowed us and everyone behind us significantly. They were a hole behind and no wonder, when they took numerous mulligans in the tee box and couldn't locate balls in the rough. But the worst was watching the two women struggling to play from the white tees where they had no business being; sometimes the tee shots barely made it to the red tees. They informed us that they are in a league where they play from the whites...kinda hard to believe. How unsatisfying it must be for them. The two of us play ready golf and found we had to wait on every tee - (no action from the ranger) course was in great shape however and you always try to make the best of any situation when you golf.

Love to play nine holes here great layout, not very sloped making it easy for me to get in steps.
The courses in great condition. They're always taking care of it. But pace of play is terrible.
I suggest going early in the morning when a good golfers are out cuz anytime after that you're going to be waiting a super long time pay some play is never being enforced.
Expected for early season
The course was in a condition to be expected this early in the season. The range and practice green were closed. Fairways were in decent shape, greens were long but the ball rolled well. Bunkers are in need of work. Overall, it’s a decent track for the fees.

Nice for 9holes
Played course in February so for that time of year here in Chicagoland area the 9 hole course was in good shape and fun to play for 1st time and 1st time out for the year. I would go back to get 9 in.
