Not worth time or money
Waaay too much congestion and bs to begin with. LOTS of loud annoying bs at the outside grill in front of club house. Bad design bc greens and tee boxes are extrememely close. Average wait time to tee about 10 mins per hole. I've played hundreds of courses but won't play this dud again.
Best golf
I always enjoy playing this course, the staff is excellent. you have to be smart golfer to play there. the course will punish you if you don't smart. my favorite hole is 17, you have to play it to the left starting at the Tee.
Nice place.
This course offers some nice and challenging elevation changes. Fun over all spot. Will be playing this one again in the future.
I really like this course
Excellent course condition and very friendly staff.
Excellent value and worth the drive.
Flying Blind
Course is fine, good deal for the money, etc. But I was very frustrated by the lack of yardage markers on the course. The only thing I saw anywhere were the 150 stakes, which are present on each hole. Also, there was nothing out there to indicate pin positions. The flags are all yellow, so that tells me nothing. And there were no mini-flags on the sticks to indicate front/middle/back. So basically I had no idea what club to use the entire day. Other than that, I had fun and the course was wide open so I was able to play 36 holes in 4:15 on a Tuesday. But unfortunately I would not come back to a course that appears to have no interest in giving me some idea where I am in relation to the hole.
great course and price nice time
$16 for a course that was in wonderful condition private club atmosphere couldn't ask for more. Would have been great if a beverage cart was around and the pro shop kid acted a bit more like he wanted to be there but was courteous. Great time with our for some.
TUCKAWAY
HAD A GOLF NOW TEE TIME SO ONLY PAID 18 PER PERSON TO RIDE ON A SUNDAY. ALOT OF PLAYERS EVERYWHERE-RIGHT HOLE, WRONG HOLE.ETC.GREENS NICE A LITTLE SLOW. OVERALL OK EXPERIENCE ESPECIALLY FOR THE COST.
Tuckaway Takeaways
Fun place to play some challenging golf. The back nine will definitely get you as it plays harder than the front. Small greens add to the challenge. Sand traps need attention to make them playable.
Nice,relaxing country course,
We were a little disappointed with the upkeep of the course. They don't appear to mower very regularly as there were many areas or "hay" piles is the roughs. The greens were in good condition and true. It was a hot day , but the beverage cart only stopped by us once. We could have used cold drinks at least 2 or 3 more times. The round was way to slow for that course, about 5 1/2 hours. We saw knowone there from the course trying to speed things up. Everything considered we had an enjoyable round and an hour in the real nice friendly clubhouse after our round.
Nice course
Been playing here for years. Greens are hard to hold, but in good shape. Course in great shape, nice staff and clubhouse.
Nice course
Course was in good condition and the greens were rolling fast.
great course for the price
I golfed Tuckaway shortly after the weather was decent enough to golf. There was plenty of rain throughout the week to make the course soggy but it was very solid. Greens were fast and tough to play but there are tons of challenges to make the course a lot of fun.
Great Course for a Great Price
This course is very challenging and lots of fun. You do not have to worry about a lot of water but the trees, slope rating and the speed of the green makes it very challenging and fun.
the course was wet , cart path only greens were ok sand taps horrible
the course overall is in decent shape, they were not ready for opening day, did not even have tee box markers.
Great course for the money!
Course is a great value and beautiful layout. I paid 14.00 for 18 holes with a cart in less than 3 hours. After my round I went in to ask how much more for 9 more holes as there was still 2 hours if daylight left and the man behind the counter told me to go ahead for nothing. The last nine took under an hour! 27 holes for $14.00 with a cart! What a deal!
Teeny postage stamp greens
Course is fun to play. Wish I'd have had a gps or a range finder. They really are lax with yardage markers. They need a ranger. We (2some) played the first 6 holes in 40 mins, then came upon a 2some & 3some who were ridiculously slow, took an hour to play last 3 holes on the front. (There were 3 holes open in front of these two groups.) We ended up playing the front again for our second nine. That was disappointing!
A gem tucked away!
Very nice course...enjoyed our round of golf. Looking forward to playing another 18 holes!
Nice layout
I've played this course for a number of years, playing in late September there is plenty of roll, the greens a quick and true.
