Decent track, needs rain
The course played really dry due to the lack of rain. Greens were in good shape, but much of the course was hard, leading to difficult iron play. The tee boxes were also pretty chewed up.
That said, the course played fair and the greens were true.
Dry
Understandably dry with the drought around but these conditions were like playing on concrete. Water the course a bit in these conditions.
Terrible Fairway Conditions
Fairways in terrible condition, like hitting off dirt. Very disappointing for the money.
First Awful Experience
Waited 7 minutes at the counter to check in. Looked in the lounge, there was the employee playing video casino games. The lady at the concession counter had to come over to help. Pace of play was awful. Four groups of four were in front - watched each other take a shot then rolled over to the next, then rolled over to the next then the next. Marshall just drove on by like nothing. Played 9 and got out of there.
Friday Tuckaway getaway
This was a nice course. Greens were well kept.
I liked the fact that there weren't water hazards.
Nice course slower play than most courses. And i don’t like they tried to pair my two person group with another group. Not something someone trying to get better at golf wants to do. Play with two people whom they don’t know. Glad the other guys felt the same and they played their rounds separate.
