Management horrible
Booked as a solo golfer. Show up for the first tee time of the day me and a stranger and they make me pay extra even after already paying for a cart to ride alone . Trying to rip me off and ride with a random guy even tho they have so many carts. Avoid this place they will try and take advantage of you.
early spring golf
first time playing the course . condition of course was good , considering there had been a lot of rain the previous week . pace of play was slow , considering it was not crowded . problem was there were single players walking and two somes in carts that didn't play up with each other , so waited on every tee box , there was no way to skip around the other players . don't know if they allow that normally , but definitely would have bothered me in season golf . i liked layout of the course , has some challenging holes with doglegs , water hazards , and a few belevateded tee boxes . will play again later in the year when course is in optimum condition. .
Ok
Decent course, usually. Solid hardness and tests your skills as a golfer. While I understand it’s early April and the course isn’t in tip top shape, you would at least expect staff to put the flag sticks in… entire back 9 each flag was laying on the ground. Gotta do better than that.
Will come back in summer and hopefully it will be better.
senior playing 18 holes.
course in very good shape. love playing here. great pricing for Senior citizen. can't wait till i play again. highly recommend
Fun course
It was a nice round, course was in decent shape for this time of year. Definitely had fun. One thing, i dont know if its always like this or what but the lack of signage on the course is pretty ridiculous. Only my second time playing here and got lost 3 or 4 time trying to find the next hole, ridiculous. Especially when crossing the street, also a couple on the front 9. Just a few small signs would eliminate that problem and i was getting frustrated. Overall it was a good time!!
Take your Turn-Berry
Course was in good fall condition. Grounds crews were busy blowing off the beautiful fall leaves. Tees, fairways, greens, traps in good condition. Fairway areas close to greens had too many unrepaired divots. Crews should not place tee markers on heavy sloped areas. Genevieve at bar was very cordial. All in all, a great outing. Can't figure why the course doesn't get more play.
golf pest
We finished our round in 4 hrs., 15 mins. and still had a guy roll up and say we were too slow. We are all in our late 60's and I told the guy, who I later found out was an employee, that we were doing our best. He stayed and hassled us and when I asked him to return to his group, he gave us the finger. Then he said he could have us removed from the course. Other than that, our day was fantastic.
Mixed Bag
Lots of goose droppings on many fairways, should do something to remove them from premises. Some fairways good shape, some dry/bare, some wet/swampy, not sure why so much variation. No food beyond candy/chips available and no beverage cart which seemed odd as course was quite busy for a weekday. Was first time on course and will try again maybe in better shape eariler in year as we went Oct 10th.
staff
Golf assistant was rude and ignorant. Upon our approach to the 9th green, he rode up on us and used a very insulting tone when telling us to step up our pace. He could have waited until the hole was over since it was the 9th hole, and there was no indication that we were holding up the group behind us up to that point.
I felt like I was on the Bataan death march
The course is very poorly managed with respet to pace of play. The foursome in front of us were poor players, had no sense of golf etiquette, and there was never anyone in sight to manage them. It was almost 5 ½ hours to play on a Saturday that was not busy. Now I know why!
yes, I wood strongly agree, need signs for going to the next hole. not that expensive. just wood signs with arrows.
