Nice course
Nice course, played it on a very windy day, bunker were fine, greens rolled true, gps could use some work,the cart we had, the gps was mounted upside down
Turnberry
I really enjoy the course. Course conditions have improved. Sadly, like so many courses they have gone to a reservation system that makes it difficult for a single player to make a tee time. In talking to the clubhouse staff, they were amenable to setting a time with a phone call so that was encouraging. It’s a great course and I’m looking forward to more rounds there this summer.
Turnberry GC review
Course was in great condition, played in under 4 hours and never had to wait to hit any shot on a Saturday. Greens were smooth and rolled true.
Course good, but another player soured the round.
We were having a nice round and some other golfer came by to complain to us that we had too many carts. We weren't holding up play and we had an additional cart due to the fact that one of the foursome was leaving early. The course was fine with the addtional cart and in some ways made playing a little faster. We told the staff about the golfer.
I (we) can't figure out why this course isn't more crowded....fine with us!
Hey Smile
Staff in the front could give a smile and make eye contact. I can understand that's it is the start of the season and everyone is busy getting the golf course ready. I encountered the front desk person a few times and just needs to smile and appreciate customers, looked grumpy. If you want to golf here, give it a go. It's not a bad course.
My group and I love Turnberry
. My group and I have been playing here for a couple years now....Typically two to three times a month. The greens are typically in fantastic shape, and we think the course layout is very challenging.... But not ridiculous. We do look forward to playing here every single time. I wish they would grow the rough in a little thicker. The grass is a little thin off the fairway.
Early
Season just started. Wasn't impressed with the staff. I understand it's early in the season, but dang it...smile!!! I get that you are busy getting things done. Everyone has a bad day, For that I will give a pass. Learn to say hi and appreciate your customers. I will not hurry back to this place, but may give this course another chance. Glad to be golfing this time of year. Maybe you will have a blast!
Fun place to play
Turnberry is a great course. Lots of challenges. Lots of sand. Some really creative holes. The greens are always tricky. I love it here!
