Carriage Greens Country Club

I have golfed at this location many times before. I called to cancel my tee time 2 days before the round happened, they put me on hold for 10 minutes, so I hung up. Mind you this was after trying to cancel the reservation on golf now. Golfnow had told me to reach out to the course.

I then called again the day of cancelling my tee time. They told me to reach out to golfnow, they are now refusing to refund my round.

Management needs to communicate with each other.

Will never be golfing here again.

Head pro and course owner were pretty rude to my buddy and I. Would not recommend anyone to this course.

People who work in the pro shop need a very serious attitude adjustment.

I’ve never been treated more poorly at another golf course or honestly anywhere. When coming in to ask for a rain check in the middle of a downpour, I’m met with yelling about the weather and incredible hostility, being told by both the “head pro”, and owner that I’m a loser kid that isn’t going to go anywhere in life, I’m a pain in the butt (butt was not the word used) and not worth receiving business from, and to go play glen eagles (which is closed). I cant imagine treating someone who is giving me business and paying my salary with that kind of disrespect. Needless to say this place treats their golfers about as poorly as it gets and I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up in the same place and glen eagles very soon.

First time there walked almost around the whole place even went in front door no club house. Ask the cart guy it’s all the way in other side away from Parkin lot and no signs saying clubhouse this way. Say something and just get attitude. Well it’s been here since the start. Thanks Sherlock. Than guy taking receipt gives us crap cause we are a couple minutes late and we have to wait on every hole for 5 min sometimes nobody out there pushing anybody. Some fairways cut but no greens cut or bunkers raked but a few guys putting some dirt down. Weather has been nice for a couple of weeks but course not taken care of at all

For the value the course was not too bad overall, one of my complaints would be that the grounds need some maintenance. Throughout the course there were many instances of large divots, left unattended which left certain areas unplayable. My second complaint would have to be that the sand traps were not well maintained at all, sand was not consistent, not well maintained, and lack of rakes to clean the trap after a shot. Do not let that detour you from trying this course I will most definitely be back especially with the friendliness of the staff, pace of play, and just overall beauty and ease of the course.

Need yardage markers on the fairways the ones on the cart path are too far away and the Garmin GPS Is reversed and not accurate on some holes would help speed up play WHY DO WE HAVE TO GUESS? All other courses have them

Just don’t play here. Once a nice country club, now an awful price for what it is. They are thieves for charging this much for the conditions.

Insanely expensive for what the course is now. Cannot believe they charge people money for how bad the conditions are.

Yes, it is fall. But goose droppings - old and new, leaves, ballmarks, all over greens. Fairways bumpy (expected). Bunkers in bad shape. Not nearly a pleasant experience

Course in great shape for November. Leaves slowed pace quite a bit

The Cousre is ok a little pricey at 72.00 and the people are friendly but the problem is there are no on course rest rooms or Portable toilets only at the Club house . We will not be back!

Pace of play was slow, but it was a holiday weekend

Think someone sabotaged with all the 1 stars. I’d say in the 3.5 to 4 star range. No GPS no range. Nice putting and chipping practice area with a bunker. Inexpensive. Starter was very friendly and accommodating. Par 70. Easier course. Can get away with some errant shots. Good mix/layout. Tees were mostly good. Cut short. a lil choppy and uneven at times. Fairways and rough were fine. Never went in the sand. Looked ok def not perfect. Greens were def slow and a lil wet without it recent rain. Ball was really sticking and even spinning back. No crazy breaking putts. Pretty driver friendly open fairways. Overall I liked it but my biggest complaint was my garmin gps didn’t work and there were zero yardage markers other than 100,150,200 painted on cart paths which doesn’t help much if you’re on the other side of the hole. Par 3s just went off scorecard yardages.

Nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews before this one. We wondered what we were in for but went anyway. A couple tee boxes could use a little TLC and so could a couple traps but it is by no means as bad as some people have reviewed. The stone path from 9 to 10, so what. The un-removed tree stumps, big deal. Greens putted true, fairways were fairways and rough was rough. What else could you ask for? If you want something perfectly manicured and pristine, cancel this reservation and join a country club. The staff we had early in the day were accommodating and friendly. Course played quick, although we were a very early tee time and the lower rating for value is just a personal opinion, I think the cost of the game and equipment has gotten out of hand. Just the nature of the beast nowadays I guess.

I wish I played this course for the last 10 years. It is in great shape!
