Fox Creek Golf Club

How they are still trying to make people pay full price for this is beyond me. The course is garbage and 80% mud. Barely any grass on several holes. Tons of bare spots and dead grass. I’m not being petty, this was in baaaaaad Condition.

Course is in disrepair. Many of the fairways have been lost due to flooding issues in the spring. Had to hit off of mud in the middle of the fairway on 2/3 of the holes.

Disappointing to say the least.

Hopefully, the staff will work to improve the course before it is completely lost. I will not be back until course conditions improve.

Worst course ever I never though a course could be this poorly maintained do not go here

We had an excellent day. It was hot and muggy. The course was in outstanding shape.

Golf course had a alot of damage to

the fairways and greens. It looks like there was some

kind of flooding issue, it would have bee nice to know

that. I would also like to say that the course lay out

looked to be very challenging, I will try to play here

again in the fall after they have some time to repair the fairways. I will call first and check on the status

of the course first

There are tee boxes and fairways when the grass has died, so penalizing lie unfairly, greens in great shape, great value

The foursome I was with had an outstanding time. The course was very challenging and the weather was great.

Called ahead and asked if we could play with 5 people, course said it was fine. Split us up at the beginning of our round saying no one would have said that. We didn't even have anyone behind us so they split us just to do it.

I have been playing this Course for years and it keep ‘s getting better. Great gronds crew they do a great job and the staff is great to.

It was our first time and about 30 miles from our home. The greens were in good condition (people, please fix your ball marks!); however, the fairway was poor to fair, and extremely dry and bare in many areas. Red tee boxes are new, and not well maintained; couldn't get a tee into the ground because it was so dry. Not likely to return given the conditions and distance.

Friendly staff. Challenging course. Some Fairways appear to be headed for a very tough summer.

Always loved Fox Creek. Always a great staff, love the layout of the course (most difficult in area to me), and the prices here always better than most around the area. Course usually in great shape, this year been a little more rough. Greens great, but fairways and traps a little rough this year. Always seem to be working on it when I’m there so should improve, regardless can’t go wrong with an outing here. Just be ready for your in-the-trees club!!

Great value and courteous golfers. Players that were a little slower allowed quicker players to play through. Finished 18 holes is less than 3.5 hours on day 1 and less than 3.0 hours on day 2.

Very challenging and fun to play, bunkers were in bad shape though but could have been because of storms...

The course is getting better. I played the back nine and would not have done that a year ago. It is becoming a better place to play after work. I work down the hill right by Belk park and they are always closed after work for leagues. So I'm glad to have a place to play 9 holes after work. And now that they are improving the course, I hope to enjoy playing there all summer long.

The staff was extremely friendly the greens in great shape but the fairways were absolutely Terrible! I play the ball down but it was impossible on the current conditions of this golf course I’m going to wait a few months before I even try to play to get it there’s no grass in the fairways!!!

Went to Fox Creek early on a Saturday. The night before it had poured down rain. The course was in decent shape but the greens were in great shape. Can't wait to play later in the year. Right now they seem to be doing a lot of work on tearing down trees and cleaning out some waste areas between holes. Overall a very nice experience.

I thought the pro shop staff and the cart girl were awesome. The course is very challenging. Unfortunately I cannot say too much more positive about my round. I liked the layout and it had some fun looking holes, but the condition of the course took away from being able to enjoy those holes. I am hoping that the conditions were more related to being early in the year even though other courses in the area do not have the same issues right now. I’ll give this course another shot mid summer to be sure.i wouldn’t recommend it right now.
