Everything is rough
The only portion of the course that wasn’t rough or worse would be the greens, which were either covered in sand or pretty much a normal length for a fairway. It seemed like a lot of the houses on the course had better conditions than the actual course

Poorly kept course!
The grass hadn’t been mowed in at least 10 days, there is clover in almost every fairway which makes it tough to find your ball. The greens were super tall making putting slow and difficult. The course is really going downhill! Sad, it used to be one of the nicest in the area.

Was great at one time
I think this was a top notch course at one time but it is in need of great improvements. There are many other courses in the area that are cheaper and better kept. The pros is that it is a neat course, powerful electric cart, and very well planned although in a neighborhood so if you're new, not the course for you. We had to ask someone where hole 1 was because there was not a map on the scorecard or signage we could find. It rained the night before and the course held so much water that I lost balls in puddles. I would try it again with the golfnow discount during a dry time.

Decent
Course upkeep is very neglected. Fairways were super rough and the greens are unpredictable. The two ladies behind the bar were super nice and friendly. Probably the only thing good about this place. Hopefully they can bring this course back to what it use to be.

The course has gotten away from them. I don’t think they’ll ever get it back. Absolutely horrible.

Course is bad
The course was left long and uncut. Bunkers on the green with all the sand. Was told carts to be in at 7:30 pm got followed and then told it was 7 pm. Told us they were going to give us a rain check for 9 ended up just giving us $10 back. Terrible.

Disappointed
It had been awhile since we played there, but I dont remember the course being in bad shape like this. I realize it's April and was to damp to mow, but it appeared to be days since last mow. Very dissapointed

Borderline Unplayable
They need to just sell this place. All the greens are in terrible shape. Fairways are somehow even worse. Really bad drainage, there was standing water from the storm two days ago. The bunkers are unplayable, most of them are grown over. It’s a shame because the layout is nice. It has lots of potential. You can tell it has not been cared for. I give a try again every year and I immediately remember why I don’t play this course even though it’s only 5 minutes away. Truly terrible.

So sad
If Chernobyl had a public golf course this would give it a run for the money as the worst course around. There were no positives to describe the condition of this once fun challenging course. The layout is by far one of my favorites in the St Louis area. Please if management sees this review do something and bring it back to life, until then I won’t be back.

How the mighty have fallen.
This used to be a great local track but has been mismanaged to the point of it being taken off my foursomes regular list. Greens are either dead or shaggy. Fairways are patchy at best if not bald down to the mud. Bunkers are mud and overgrown trees have ruined some holes.

Sunday golf outing
It was a very windy day. Wind around 30 mph. Greens were not in very good condition. We had a good day though.

No carts
Course ran out of carts and held tee times up. Tee’d off 40 minutes late, couldn’t finish round due to darkness.

Not in the best shape.
Several of the greens had dead areas. The rest of the course was in ok shape for Dec 6.
