Great Day
Perfect weather, course wet in low areas but to be expected. Tee boxes improved over a few days before when you could barely get the tee in the ground...ladies tee boxes in rough shape...doesn't look like any repairs in quite some time..It was a great day and enjoy playing Hughes Creek on a regular basis
Ok place to play
Course needs a little TLC in a few places, especially the tee boxes and greens. Golfers, fix your ball marks and quit turning your feet on the greens creating spike marks, come on! Pace pf lay was great
Love this place
I don't get out to Elburn much, but when I do, I play a round at Hughes Creek. I just love this course. Great value for the money. To me it's a hidden gem.

Great course and great value! Fun course design and was in great shape!
Mostly good shape, great pace and fun
Course was mostly in good shape. Some spotty conditions near the OB areas on back 9, some patchiness on a few greens and 1 temporary tee box but other than that, was in great shape. Crews are removing some dead trees which open up a lot more fairways and reduces blind tee shots. A great course with a lot of elevation changes.
Hidden gem of a course
Invited a friend for a short notice round and he loved it.
Good deal for the course
Tee boxes weren’t in good condition. Slow play, but rangers were visible. Course was in decent condition, but dirt was rock hard…not sure how often they watered. Love the elevation changes in this course. Food/drink cart availability was good. Good value for the money.
