El Paso Golf Club
The pace of play was horrible. Called the clubhouse and asked if someone from the pro shop could come out onto the course and get people moving. Unfortunately no one came out to speed up the play. It was backed up by at least two foursomes on every hole. Due to this, we will not return to this course,
Course recovery
Great job by maintenance crew after all the heavy rain earlier in the season!Greens rolling fast and true.Bunkers with fresh sand and fairways with plush grass.
One of our favorite area courses
Got a nice GolfNow deal for a fun weekend round. Course had taken a lot of rain and wind but wasnt too soggy. It was cart path only but we managed that ok. Greens were a little slow due to the rains but not too bad considering the weather. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Staff was friendly. Always try and golf here 4 or 5 times a season....highly recommend.
Nice layout with lunch and adult drinks available
Been here many times but first time using Golf Now discount. Beautiful course and excellent facility to have lunch after a round.
Short Country club course.
Fairways are in great shape.Greens are fast and smooth!Bunkers not so good due to heavy rains this spring.Over all a nice local Country Club.
Worth the hot deal
Fun, but challenging course, was worth the $45 hot deal. Would be 5 stars but they had recently aerated the greens and it was quite the surprise , didn’t see that on the website and would’ve been nice to know. All in all I was pleased. I will be back.
Fun course, bad weather day
We played a round as we passed through town. Unfortunately we came in after a storm front and battled 20+ mph sustained winds. Course was fun and we would love to try again in warmer weather.
One of the better courses around
Firstly, we need to discuss the fact that there are courses rated over four stars on GolfNow in central Illinois. There aren’t any. This is the closest. The greens are pretty decent, but people don’t fix their ball marks, especially the high school boys team from what I understand. The course layout is interesting, which is necessary because it’s so short. I never play the black tees, but I do at El Paso, because the black tees are still pretty short. Overall, a great course to play.
