Fun little course
It's a fun course. Front 9 is old with some tighter tree-lined holes. The back 9 is newer, more modern style architecture. Both 9s are not long,. The back has a few risk/reward holes. Could shoot a good score if you hit it straight. The greens were recently aerified, which was a bummer. We were stuck behind a foursome of beginners for a while, but they let us through on 7, and the pace was better after that.
Hard to beat
Excellent conditions, great layout, 1/3 the price of courses in Bloomington-Normal. Not sure there is a better deal out there for central IL.
Half course
Booked on golfpass. Should have called the course I guess. Then I would have known the front 9 was closed. Had to play the back twice and really slow.
Would have been nice if golfpass would have noted that before I booked.
El Paso Golf Club
Course was in great shape for March. Very well taken care of. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Fun Course
I have not played here in quite a long time. The course is in fantastic shape with super fast greens.
The back nine tends to be narrow with lots of trouble if you spray your shots.
I would consider it a gem off the beaten path and worth the trip. The food on the 19th hole is worth the trip out to Kappa!
El Paso Golf Course
Nice course. They charge $28 for a golf cart!! Totally ridiculous! Most courses are $14 for a cart that players can split...not here. Pro shop workers were very arrogant when questioned about the cost of a cart. Not going back!!
Super Coarse
One of the nicest coares I have ever played. A great value for your dollar. Its a hidden gem
challenge
the course offers a variety of holes with some generous fairways and tight shots as well, I enjoy playing this course and recommend it
Excellent Venue
Course has a good layout and always in excellent shape. Friendly staff and excellent food in the restaurant. Good deal for price. Would highly recommend for playing.
Course still in great shape
...for December, that is. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. The sand traps were soggy, but playable. This is a really fun golf course, for those who have never played it. The front nine and back nine are VERY different. Each is fun in its own right. The staff in the restaurant are friendly and helpful.
Excellent Winter Condition
Leaves were gone, greens were great, The staff has done a great job keeping the course in shape for winter golf.
Well maintained fairway and greens
A very good experience overall. Friendly staff, great course, good bar/restaurant, challenging course. It was a fun day and we’ll go back!
