Great deal!
Was expecting to be disappointed after only paying $18, but was extremely pleased to see this course was in tip tip shape.
Very playable and would highly recommend it if you're in the area.
A Good Game Spoiled (by new management)
My friend and I loved "The Legacy" golf course. It is the most walk-able, favorably priced for the condition, course in the St.Louis / Illinois Area. My friend and I have easily played it over 50 times in just 1.5 years. However, I have to say loved due the new changes under the new manager. The new manager is a rude individual who made it his job to make us never want to play the course again. He talks to his customers rude and argues with them about prices when the prices were agreed upon ahead of time over the phone. Beyond that he is controlling about pace of play (which is not a bad thing) when there is a gap 4 hole gap between you and the next golfers behind you. He makes you feel rushed and that the highlight of his day is when you finally leave. I cannot recommend this course to my enemies, much less my friends.
Overall a mid/decent course
The staff were very friendly, but the fairways where ehh.

Good course for the money
This course has some challenging holes and nice teeshots. Definitely worth playing if you haven't before.

Decent for February
The course was in fair shape for February. Unfortunately, it was a bit soggy in spots so 'cart path only' slowed down play. Plus there were several smaller groups which also slowed play. Normally, I can whiz through this course in 3 1/2 hours. Today, it was over 4.

Great fall golf
It was a beautiful 70+ degree day. The course was in great shape for November, especially the greens.
Never forget a club on this course. If it gets turned in, they immediately throw it in their $15 resale bin.... Greens are always in fantastic condition btw.
