Great course for the money
Haved played here twice. The course has always been in great shape. My only 'complaint' is that the greens seem very hard to read, with frequent difficult pin placements. My experience has been two putts are very fortunate. The speeds are deceptive.
Interesting course, good value
First time playing the course. The layout is a bit weird - would be some long hikes if walking. More water then I'm used to dealing with. But fairways and greens were in great shape. I would go back. Great value forcwhat I paid ($23).
Good course with Great Staff
Fun and enjoyable round. They have the best staff in the area. The Pga Pro Brian is the best I have seen running a clubhouse.
Great course for good pay
Legacy is nice and open course for a relaxing round of golf.. pretty much sums it up good bang for the buck!
Only thing is with everything going on a lot of people are golfing pace was good on the front nine but caught up to the traffic on the back nice about 4 groups back to back waiting for each to tee off think tee times were like every 7 mins a little right for players of any skill level
Fairways are in terrible shape
I like this course layout and the greens are in pretty good shape. The fairways, though, are TERRIBLE. Some of them have hundreds of potholes, making driving a cart in the fairways a challenge.
It's a shame, because with some TLC, this would be a good corsee.

Fairways Need Lots of Attention
My husband and I have play many of the courses in the STL area and it was our first time to Legacy GC. The fairway barely has grass, however the greens were well maintained. The course could use some work. We will not be going back.

Perfect for swinging the clubs
Legacy is a great course for just getting out to swing the clubs. While the mown fairways are pretty narrow, there is plenty of space around them. The greens are in good shape. The fairways and tees are a little rough. Shop staff was very friendly.
FYI, Legacy is not in the USGA's GHIN system.
Lots of Issues
The fairways were anything but good. Lots of bare spots and holes. Almost flew out of the cart a couple of times driving on the fairway because it was so rough. Greens in general were pretty good but the grass around the greens needed a lot of work. Very disappointed.

Not great conditions
The pace of play was super slow, but it was a saturday. There was a group of 8 infront of us. The greens are very nice but pretty much the only good thing about the course. The mosquitos were awful especially for an afternoon round in the middle of the summer. Bring bug spray.

Nothing good but greens
Tee boxes were rock hard with the exception of a few. Fairways had craters all over them. Hit a perfect drive down the middle of the fairway on hole 3 and was hitting out of dirt. Rough was just as bad. Bunkers were pretty well dirt. I will say that the greens were a little slow but very nice (only reason for the 2 stars). Pace of play was pretty bad. First 3 holes took an hour at least after sitting at the first tee box 30 mins past my tee time. Driving range was a joke. No decent grass to hit off of.
Overall wouldn’t recommend. Will not be back.

Floods easily
The course layout and conditions are great. Fairly open fairways, soft tee boxes, and well maintained greens. Only negative on this course is if it has rained recently. This course floods really easily and gets swampy. The guy in the pro shop did give us a warning before we played. Be sure it hasn’t rained in a while and the course should be great.
Not open
Had a tee time for 5:07 pm. Payed the 4 dollar fee to book the tee time and drove 25 minutes to the course. Got there and no one was there and the inside was locked and carts were put up.

Slow play great course
I don’t blame the course for slow play on a Tuesday mid morning. The gentleman in front on me played multiple balls each.

Great course layout nice and open, greens in great condition and no need to break your thumb trying to tee up, no complaints
