Legacy Golf Course

Everything in the course was fine but the pace of play was HORRIBLE. I was there for almost six hours. I got paired up with a different group which was fine, but at some points we were on the tee box with four different groups waiting. This was the longest I have ever played 18 holes in my life.

I've played this course many times. This was the worst shape I've seen it. The greens were in grea shape, butt that was about all. The fairways needed severe mowing. Lots of long grass patches all around .I lost two balls in one fairway due to the long grass (wasn't in the rough, per say, just off what should have been the first cut). made for a frustrating round. This is the 2nd course in the past week I encountered these conditions. Maybe having staffing troubles?

Plus, I wish they would put some effort into smoothing out the fairways. You will rattle your teeth out driving across them. They probably should be totally plowed up and releveled.

The front 9 was extremely wet.hard to find ball if in rough. I like the layout Amsterdam water challenges. The back 9 was in great shape and they were mowing it so was easy to locate ball in the rough. Gems and tee boxes were in great shape overall

I have been playing Legacy for years as it’s around the corner from my house.

The greens are always in phenomenal shape, but the tee boxes and fairways are usually sub par.

This, plus the typical cost of a round, makes it hard to justify paying the normal rate for a subpar course on a regular basis.

Course great condition but pace of play slow you may have a foursome then 3 single then foursome then twosome it needs to managed better

Staff is great very friendly

Cart path trail was marked with arrows and made it very easy to move to the next hole

A buddy and I went out to play this course and got paired with a single. Always have a great time playing here and the people you meet on the course are fun as well. Course was in better shape than I’ve seen in the past. Great job, will be back!

Course was ok tee boxes not good and greens had sand on them I assume they created the greens

But usually course is in good shape

I get that clover patches are common in southern Illinois but the fairways shouldn't be rough length 3/4 of the fairway,greens rolled better than anywhere I've played this year do overall it was positive fairways were so hairy it took 30 yard a off center of fairways hit

Coarse in good shape, little standing water in places. It had rained the night before and some night before. In all it was good day golfing!

So the course is in really decent shape this year compared to years past. Only real gripe is the cart girl accepts cash only. I didn’t know this and as many people these days, didn’t have cash.

Please update her payment methods so she can take cards or pay apps etc…the course and her are losing money. Besides that it was a great round.

Greens are in awesome shape! Keep up the good grounds work!!
