Legacy Golf Course

Played yesterday and the course is pretty flat and set up well to my liking, however the course was not in the best conditions… the fairways are very patchy and hard as a rock and when you do lie on grass it is more so weedy grass… the greens were fantastic other than they rolled like a marble floor and on EVERY approach you definitely have to land at least 10 yards off the front of the green and hope your ball doesn’t roll through the back.. with some TLC this could be a great course.

Course was in good shape greens and fairways freshly cut rough was a challenge in spots. Fun! The staff here are absolutely fantastic! Will return

They allowed a group of 6 plus there small children to play all on the same tee time and it ruined the pace for the entire course for the whole day causing our group of three to finish 18 holes in 5.5 hours which is ridiculous, every tee box behind the group had at least two groups waiting on them and I find it very unprofessional to allow this to happen

I wont ever go back to this place the staff is rude. We did show up right at the time our tee time was which was our fault and we would of been fine just starting on the second hole but wasnt given the opportunity. Instead they aloud us to pay and get a cart and as soon as we sat in a cart the guy came out and started telling us we couldnt play untill 12pm when it was 8:50 in the morning. So after arguing with the guy wasting 10 minutes that we could of been done on the first hole by then finally got a refund.

I played on a day that was predicted to have showers. Not a drop on me. Played in 2.5 hours and enjoyed every scenic moment. The young man in the club house was very friendly. The facility was very clean and well kept. Grounds staff on the course were very friendly and courteous.

The grass in the fairway was like playing in your back yard. Lots of tall clover in fairway. The greens were large . The greens were in great shape. There were 4 greens that had helicopter from near by trees. They look like they have been there a few days.

While the price is low to play, it definitely serves as a reminder of you get what you pay for. The course has the capability to be one of the nicer courses in the area but it seems as if the owners don’t care about taking care of it. The fairways are non-existent! The rough may as well be called the fairway as you can’t tell the difference between the two. The only positive, other than the cost, is the greens actually roll really well.

It’s sad to see how far the course has fallen because it used to be a good change of pace from the other courses in the area. Hopefully the owner can turn things around and get the rest of the course up to the level of the greens at least.
