Legacy golf course
Course over all in good condition tee boxes need work
pace of play is horrible
A nice time
Always a nice time to come home to play Legacy. There are better courses in the StL region, but you’ll pay at least double.
You’ll get some odd bounces, both your ball and the cart traversing the fairway. Greens were in very good shape for ridiculous summer heat. Lady in the shop was very nice. Highly recommend

Not a bad course…pace was slow because we had a group in front of us that was taking their sweet time and they were terrible golfers..lol
Tee box and greens were not that bad, did notice some standing water on one of the holes. Overall not bad for the price.
First time playing this course.
Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Beer was cheap, 6 for $15 if that matters.
Golf cart and path was very good.
Tee boxes are awful, rock hard. I had difficulty getting my tea into the ground. Using a bird tee may be a good idea.
Fairways need some help but the are playable.
I believe there’s a ball washer at almost every hole, which was really nice.
Waters in the cooler was cold, and all the coolers were full.
I never ended up in a bunker however, the sand traps looked above average for the area.
The greens are the best part of this course, they are fantastic.
If I had to rate this golf course on value for your $$$, it would easily be a 10 out of 10. I believe you would be hard-pressed to find a cheaper round of golf in the area.

Good course for value
Course is in pretty good shape, greens are good and most fairways are in good shape. Pace of play can be slow on weekends. Staff is polite but not outgoing, you will not get a conversation out of them. Carts are in good shape. Overall for the price it’s a decent course.
1st time at Legacy
My buddy and I were very happy with our experience at Legacy. The staff was very friendly and the course was fun. The greens were in excellent shape.

Legacy golf course
One of southern Illinois's gems! Always a great time at Legacy. Plus, it has a little bite yo it. I mean, it's plenty challenging. So,I definitely recommend it.
Slow play
Extremely slow play and nobody monitoring. Allowed 5 some that certainty didn’t help the situation.

Course in good shape
Been doing the Hot Deals and got to play this one for only $15 for 18 with a cart so excellent deal course in better shape than others in the area we played on recently. Retired so can play whenever and of course not the best time to play but we got through in 3 hours. Would recommend this course

Don’t go on Mondays.
I booked 18 holes through the golf now app and when I got to the course the pro shop worker tells me that there is a league on the front and I can only play nine. To make things better I can’t get any of my money back and must pay for 18 but can only play nine. The course also booked way too many people so the pace of play was miserable. Interesting experience for sure.
