I took my two sons golfing today. I chose this course because my sons and I are not very good and the course is forgiving. There was a discrepancy with the total cost, because I used a gift card with a credit card, and the price was muddled. But the two gentleman behind the counter figured it out and our day was fantastic. One of the gentleman behind the counter was Jim, I am sorry I do not recall the other mans name. I would tell everyone if you want to golf here it will be a great day.

Woodruff in the Rain
I just played this course after a big storm and besides a few holes having some standing water the course still played great. The greens were still pretty quick even though they were wet. This is one of my favorite courses to play. Didn’t disappoint.

No way a $60/rd course
I know courses were limited during the pandemic, but this is not a $60 course. Help us out a little.

Our rates are lower than 11 of the 12 courses. We also offer various time/day based discounts and email specials. We wish you the best wherever you choose to play.
Golf
I played a round of 18 here. The course was well maintained, and the staff was quite nice. The back 9 is beautiful and also where the challenge begins. It gets very hilly, so this may be a course where you’d want to ride.

Will play it Again
Wife and I played it;s a bit long for her but she liked it
I;m a 13 hcp and pared 10 holes but you got to watch out for the creek that winds through the course. Now I know where it is I want to play the course again, I know I can due better

Little pricy
For $48 per golfer, I expected nicer greens. They were looking like a patchy beard with how torn up they we’re

Best course for price
Me and a friend each paid $27 for 18 with a cart. The greens and fairways are the nicest I’ve played for this cheap. You don’t see many courses under $30 with conditions as nice as this. The front 9 is very easy and fun and the back is a little more of a challenge

Very expensive for the type of course this is
68 dollars for 18 with a cart for a golf course that is less than 6000 yards. That is very expensive when you mix in the fact the 10th tee had extensive damage running all the way through the green. When I told one of the course employees he said he didn’t know anything about it. That might be something you want to educate yourself about and earn golfers about. Not likely to come back to this course.

Great course, great value, and great fun
I’ve played here before and will continue to do so in the future. Although the rough was due another mowing & maintenance could do a better job of cleaning up the clippings, overall course conditions were really good. You can’t beat the price per value. And the staff was super friendly.

Was good until
Living a few miles from te course, was always one of my best places to play UNTIL I brought my one of my sons, 8 years old who wants to ride only and maybe hit a couple holes for his birthday .... I don’t mind to pay for that at all and I was ask to the guy in the pro shop UNTIL other guy from the course come in and saying in front on my son that they will charge me for him is a adult! No matter if he hits a ball ones! Or put a club in the golf cart!!! Of course I won’t discuss with my son in front about all this stuff!! Just left this course for the rest of my life! Wish nothing but the best karma to woodruff!! this is not the course I used to know!! Worst worst worst!
We are sorry for your negative experience. We do have family twilight where your son can play for free 7 days per week. It’s fine
You get what you pay for. Short course, boring front 9, way more entertaining back 9. We played right after a few days of rain and it’s always frustrating to lose a ball because the grass is looking like the US Open.
It was difficult Spring for rough. We appreciate you playing and good luck wherever you choose to play.
Tall grass everywhere
The course was not well maintained. The fairway grass was tall and the rough grass was ridiculously tall, where any missed shot was frustratingly difficult to locate. Overall a nice layout and a walkable course. Putting greens were in good shape. Beware, there are no par 5 holes. Not coming back to play anytime soon.

Woodruff is an understatement
The course has some really nice holes and nice elevation. The issue is with the walking rule it’s a very tough course to walk. And for some odd reason the roof right off the fairway either wasn’t trimmed enough or often but you’re basically losing your ball if you go off the fairway.
We had a rough time keeping up with the early growing season. We strive to do better. Thank you for choosing Woodruff.
Would not go back
Did not like layout. Did not like there was only one tee box per hole. The rough was brutally long and and unevenly cut.
We have extra tee boxes on 2,4,5,7,8,9,11,12,15,16,and 17. If you come back out and have difficulty locating them a staff member will be happy to help you. The spring growth was difficult making the course extremely challenging. We strive to meet your expectations. Thank you for playing.
A joke
With the social distancing situation I have experienced super fast rounds. We have 3 twosomes in front of us in the same hole all day. I called the shop to complain and the “ staffer” came out and did absolutely nothing. This was on the 4th hole.
Last 3 rounds here have been rough experiences.
