Terrible course
Bunkers were yellowish dirt with weeds growing out of it, the greens were in terrible condition, chunks of it were gone and it was like putting on a super stiff rug, weeds everywhere there was clearly no maintenance done at all in the past weeks. Don’t recommend unless you want to golf for cheap on a crappy municipal par 3, but for $18 I expected a lot more if it was less than ten I pay for what I play but for $18 terrible
Course is in terrible shape
Course was in terrible shape greens had holes and no grass on most of it. There was a group of 15 kids playing some new made up game with a soccer ball holding up the golfers. Use to be a nice little course, Sad
Great for first time Golfers
Although the golf course could have used some maintenance—the grass was quite dry—it served its purpose well. I played there to introduce a friend to golf, and given our beginner skill level, the course was perfectly suited for a casual and enjoyable round
Total dump
If you like playing in weed infested fairways, ant hill filled greens, patchy greens and sand traps filled with weeds look no further.
Fast little course with challenging fairways, but non-viable greens. Great for irons practice.
At first I was very disappointed in the course because of the terrible condition of the greens, but then realized the fairways are what you come for. They’re narrow, with water, trees and sand everywhere, so having an accurate tee off is crucial. I’ll be using it as a great irons practice course from now on.
Terrible golf course, great golf store
This is a short par 3 golf course and perfect for beginners. However, even for beginners the overall condition of the course was terrible. The tee boxes are mostly dirt; the fairways are full of weeds and the greens are full of divots. There is a golf store attached to the "clubhouse", and it is excellent.
Course has been seriously let to deteriorate. Been playing here for about 5 years and this was the eorst I’ve seen. Nets are ripped, bunkers are filled with weeds, greens are filled with debris, parking lot filled with potholes. It’s an easy course which is why I love coming here but after today I need to seriously reconsider.
Not Great
I have seen backyards in the desert that are better manicured than this course. The tee boxes are chewed up and just dirt. The Bunkers are rock hard, the fairways and greens are patchy and you can't tell where one ends and the other starts. There is no marshal on the course, so there are no pace of play, or play group enforced. We were behind a family of 6 that was playing all as one group. And then after skipping over a hole to get around them, got behind a pair of golfers that were sharing about 4 clubs between them

Course operator here. Thanks for the review - and we're working on improving course conditions after a traditional winter and rollercoaster spring. We're proud that White Mountain is a place for people to learn the game of golf, but we do expect golfers to be respectful of others' time. In the future, please call or send us a note as you're observing slow play or large groups bunching up.
White Mountain Recreation Center
Had I known the awful condition of the course I would have never booked a tee time. I’m fairly confident there’s NO greenskeeper whatsoever that’s how poor the course was. The pace of play was just as bad, no starters or rangers and we teed off 30 minutes late. It’s a free-for-all and not in a good way. We will not be going back unless it makes a complete transformation, very disappointing.
Best bang for your buck!
9$ when you buy online and what else can you ask for for that kind of money. I took my young boys here and we had a blast
