Mendota Golf Course

Course is in excellent shape .Has a few tricky holes. Clubhouse staff is always friendly and helpful. Love to play this course.

Just was so much more than I expected. Course was in really good shape. Facilities are very old but kept up very well. Also very clean and staff was awesome. Only negative is the shop has very little merchandise. I'd rate this a 4.5

Great bang for your buck. Staff and patrons friendly. Most days 3 hrs, 18 holes for a high handicapper. Single digit flat bellies may want more challenge but most of us will think it's enough.

Nice course and friendly staff. Nobody told us there was a shotgun start beginning while we were playing. Some of them let our twosome play through but some refused to. 1 1/5 hours for 2 holes so we quit. Never would have started if we would have known.

Good course, well maintained, friendly. Good bang for the buck!

Fun rural course with some tough and fun holes. I highly recommend a trip out to Mendota IL.

Late season typical play. Fallen leaves make it hard to find your ball. Could have been mowed better. Some greens suffered die out this somet and we're rough.

We weren't expecting a great course in the middle of farm country; but, we were surprised by the great shape the fairways and greens were in. The layout was also a surprise in that it is varied, interesting (including more elevation changes than expected), and pleasant to view. Some tee box locations aren't obvious - a few more signs would be helpful. Two holes run tightly along highway 34.

The fairways were without brown or bare spots - full healthy grass. The greens were fast and smooth. It appeared that they had been rolled recently. A few had been scalped in places by the mower so I'd guess they're not always cut so high on the stimpmeter. One of my golf partners complained about how fast they were, but after making multiple birdie putts, he developed a smug, happy look.

Course is nice, pace was good. Few greens needed some attention but overall was a really fun round.
