Mendota Golf Course

The course had an outing. They suggested we call you and demand our money back. We were the 3rd group that booked a tee time that should not have existed. We waited about 45 minutes and played with no issues from there. Have played this course multiple times. It seemed uncharacteristically "shaggy".

At 6,186 yds, par 70 I expected an easier track. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the toughness of this gem. The course features small sloping greens, a fair number of long par 3s and 4s, a winding creek and elevation changes on every hole. And, the course was well maintained. A great value!

Pick this course up and put it in Naperville or any larger populated area and you’d be paying 3 times what they charge for how nice of a course this is. Expect nothing but a great time and great value if you’re willing to make the drive out from the burbs.

Third time playing this course this year. It’s a well maintained and fun course to play.

had a nice round here. course was in pretty good shape. there are some difficult lies around most of the greens. some weird areas of very fluffy grass that push the ball up high on the face on chip/pitch shots. after having a little pitch of about 20 yards go 10 feet on #4 i got smart and used a putting stroke with my 5-wood the next couple times i was in the fluff. however, you have an issue when the fluff is at the bottom of an elevated green and you need height. still haven't figured out that shot.
