Short but not “easy”
This course requires specific shots and not just driver on every hole. Plenty of shots are tight with little room to bail out. It is an accessible course for all golfers and great value for money.
Bang for you golfing buck.
Between the virus and the flooding, the course is in great shape. It's dried out so your ball will run out a little and the goose turds are non-exhistant.
Grounds were maintained great!
Course was absolutely beautiful today! Great roll on the greens and emasculate staff! Can’t wait to golf here again!

Staff was great, as well as other players. Course was in good condition when considering all the flooding we have had.

Not a bad little track, can be slow and crowded on weekends but the course is a fun play (other than holes 2, 3 and 10, which are heckl on wheels). Not a bad for the money.
The Infamous Hole No. 3
One day I will get a birdie on #3, the only hole I have not. The course is playing very well with risk/reward for keeping the ball in the fairway. Greens were a little bumpy but expected that know they were recently aireated.. Pace of play was 3-1/2 hours for 18 which is very good. Staff is always helpful and friendly..
Excellent value for your money and I know one day I will birdie #3..
Get what you pay for
With just a little TLC this course could be sooo much better. Layout is really fun for players who can drive the ball 250+. Lots of reachable par 4's and the holes are all somewhat different...But the tee boxes are trashed, and you will have to look for a spot of decent turf to hit from in the fairways occasionally. The greens aren't too bad, and would actually be pretty decent if people would just repair ball marks. Overall, the conditions don't warrant more than 3 stars, but i usually have a pretty fun time playing here at a reasonable price.

Needs Water
It hasn't rained much here lately, but the course is in desperate need of water. The ground was so hard it made some shots very difficult on certain holes. The back 9 was in much better shape than the front 9.
Not a fun experience
The staff at the front was rude and unhelpful and the course conditions, especially the fairways were poor. Pace of play was tough and it was simply not an enjoyable round. I’ve been to other forest preserve course which have been way better than this. Do yourself a favor and go to Indian Boundary of your thinking of playing forest preserve golf.
Golf Now Booking Issue
I made tee time for 8:07 am through Golf Now. When I went to the course they did not have my Tee time. I showed them the print out and they squeezed me in for 8:05. Our group could not tee off until 8:35. we had to wait.
