Chick Evans Golf Course

Great pricing, horrible staff, nice course if taken care of.

It hasn't rained much here lately, but the course is in desperate need of water. The ground was so hard it made some shots very difficult on certain holes. The back 9 was in much better shape than the front 9.

The staff at the front was rude and unhelpful and the course conditions, especially the fairways were poor. Pace of play was tough and it was simply not an enjoyable round. I’ve been to other forest preserve course which have been way better than this. Do yourself a favor and go to Indian Boundary of your thinking of playing forest preserve golf.

I made tee time for 8:07 am through Golf Now. When I went to the course they did not have my Tee time. I showed them the print out and they squeezed me in for 8:05. Our group could not tee off until 8:35. we had to wait.

Only good thing about this course is the staff, they were pretty nice!

Course was horrible quality, and it took aver 3 hours for an experienced twosome to play nine holes... we quit after 11 holes it was that bad. Do not recommend!

A lot of rain in the Chicago area over the last month made it a tough course. Wet throughout but would love to come back when it dries up a bit

One of the best values in the north suburbs. Interesting layout surrounded by trees. Opens year round, and price with cart is affordable.

Chick has been one of my favorites and it's a great track to get in a quick round. Can't wait to come back.

The course was almost too wet to play. Super slow round. Waited on every hole. Despite all the water the greens were in surprising good shape and putted true. Course where not under water was a beautiful green. Clubhouse does not have too many amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Tee time was at 10:45, didn't get off until 11:30. Don't know why they even have tee times there. Narrow course with greens and tee boxes close to each other. Always hearing people talking/screaming. Bike path is next to a few holes and they were constantly screaming while I was trying to hit. Extremely slow pace of play. Really not a great experience

I booked the tee time on their user friendly website the night before... we tee'd off at 6:52am and had a great time... play was fast, staff super helpful and friendly!! Definitely playing here again soon!
