Great little course

I love the layout of this course. I don’t play here often enough, but every time I do I have to ask myself why I don’t. Some shorter par 4’s give you the opportunity to be aggressive and try to make up some strokes. Staff are great, and the pace of play wasn’t bad considering how busy it was. I definitely need to play here more often.

Getting Bad

This course has always been one of my favorites for years but the condition of the course has gone way down. Wouldn’t recommend to friends currently with how the course is looking. Greens are too soft and slow. The rough and parts of the fairways look like my front yard.

Rough was rough

I’ve golfed this course many times and generally enjoy it. The last outing it was getting overgrown, especially in the rough. The rates were upped this year, so I didn’t expect to lose so many balls just a few feet from the fairway.

It’s still an excellent course.

Moweaqua Golf Course

My husband and I enjoy this course. It is worth our 1 hour drive to get there. 2 greens are not in good shape but the rest of the course is great!. The Salty Farmer in Town is a good place to stop after a round of golf but not open on Monday or Tuesdays.

Great course

Moweaqua is one of my favorites. Layouts are interesting and the fairways are wide enough to be forgiving to duffers like me.

Only a couple of holes are really difficult (10, 15), but it’s okay to have a few challenges.

I highly recommend this course to anyone with a handicap above 10.
