Value Play
Village Green always offers one of the better values for hot deals and weekday play with a cart. If you need a quick fix and don't mind playing in mediocre course conditions, this is always a good option. The greens are at least in decent shape, but they're extremely slow. The fairway and rough are the worst part. There're a lot of patchy and dying grass everywhere, and sometimes they'll try and feed the grass midday, which is a bit of an annoyance as I was purposely trying to avoid the sprinklers. But at the end, it's an easier par 70 course and the value is there.
It's not the nicest, but you can't beat the value
Village Green is absolutely worth the money. For the price, the course layout and course conditions are pretty decent. It's not the most challenging course, fairways are generally pretty wide, but it's a great course to get out and play golf with your buddies. Pace of play is quite good, I don't find myself waiting around much at all. If you're looking to get an inexpensive round of 18 in, go to Village Green!
there are no yardage markers on the course. NOT GOOD
Course layout is a little tight
Too many of the greens and tee boxes are too close together. There was a group on another hole shooting at our green because they were confused with the layout. Tee boxes are in need of some TLC. Greens were nice but considerably slower than the practice green.
Not good
Got hit in the mouth by a golf ball. Guy didn’t say fore or anything. Staff was tremendous and helpful. Course layout is a disaster and shouldn’t be allowed
Village green
Very forgiving course. Not the best conditions but you get your money’s worth.
DO NOT PLAY HERE
Greens are about the only thing this course has going for it. Fairways are hard as a rock, course doesn’t look like it’s had a green keeper since 1960. Starters will get on your case for being late but pace of play is slow. Fairways have large holes in them and rocks everywhere.
Quick Round
Overall the course was in good condition. However the sprinklers were on on the front 9. Our round started at 10:37 am and there was lots of water on the fairways. Pace was excellent, we were done a few minutes before 2pm.
Golf course in good condition. Tee box on 9 hole need work/fixing. Fairways are in good condition and so are the greens. Some of the sand traps need lots of work. Some had hardly any sand and a few had water in them. Pace was excellent.
