Great great Course
Sanctuary golf course is a very well groomed course and absolutely beautiful to play on. The course has some challenging holes on it but overall just a fun course to play. Holes 14 and 15 are my favorite. They are a challenge being back in the forest but they are simply some of the most beautiful holes you will find in the area. Highly recommend the course!!!
Better than I remember
Moved away from the area 17 years ago and used to play. Fast forward...came up for a long weekend and got three old buddies together to play. Heard the area had not had much rain in the last month so we were all happy that the course was in really good condition.
Staff was great and everything was very clean Course played tough in the wind and was in great playing condition Greens were consistent with one exception (12)
Better have all day to play
That had to be the worst pace of play I have ever experienced. It’s going to be tough to go back. Course conditions were nice, but the pace of play and service quality resulted in a poor experience.

Course was in very good shape considering lack of rain. Was nice to see they had staff on the course with water and such. Coming back Sunday
Tee times were available all evening on Golfnow. Showed up paid and was told I couldn’t play because they had just let the local high school team on.
Beautiful Course
This is an awesome course and highly recommend it! I would suggest to play other courses to warm up your game before playing here. It’s a challenging course which I love and some holes are very forgiving as well. Greens fairways and roughs are in great shape. Some areas can be cut deeper though.
Walkers slowed pace
It was extremely hot and humid-there was a 4some 2 groups in front of us that were walking and carrying while I applaud their fortitude the backed up the rest of us-The course was in great shape -greens were fabulous--Wished the cart person had come out a bit earlier due to heat-and not being able to have water on course due to virus.-Will definitely be back soon....
Perfect Golf Day
I drove 2 hours to play The Sanctuary today and it was well worth the drive. Beautiful day and golf course. My son lives in New Lenox and I try to get over and play several times during the summer with him but had not been able to play it this summer yet. It was well worth the drive. Excellent golf course and great day.
