No tee markers which was frustrating. Hopefully that has changed recently.

Pummeled by once in a lifetime rain, I get it. Still, rough was brutally long and errant shots were really difficult to find. They did cut some grass but it left huge grass clippings all over. (Again I understand the why but it should be mentioned). Greens rolled nice. I’d wait til things dry out.

Wish I would’ve known it was the front nine only. Probably would not have played they’re having to play the front nine twice.

Good day to get out! Course was in good shape, just an abundance of dandelions, which makes it hard to find your white ball. Covid May have delayed course maintenance. Fun track!!

We adhered to the recommendations by the state by playing by the new guidelines. Teed off 15 minutes apart and everyone was in 2 somes. Some fairways weren't cut very well, that would be my main gripe with today. Love playing here, the back 9 layout is great. Greens rolled smooth and true. It was a very enjoyable round!

Great conditions for this early in the year, greens may take a little longer to get to the best in the area

A nice course with a combination of both difficult and easy holes that plays quickly.

Sanctuary is an extremely changing course. Many of the fairways are very narrow, with twist & turns in the least expected spots. Every hole is covered with bunkers, and many in places very hard to avoid. However, it’s a beautiful course with beautiful scenery, lots of water, wooded areas, and natural beauty. As for staff friendliness, definitely not the friendliest. For my first on the course, and under colder conditions (November) Sanctuary is a very nice course.

I had heard about this course earlier this summer when I paired up with a golfer who was an employee at this course. He strongly suggested that I give it a shot, so today I finally made that happen even though it was later in the season than I had originally intended.

Overall, I enjoyed the layout and thought the tees, fairways, and rough were all in good condition given that it's late in the year. I was only in two bunkers, and both were in good condition despite the wet conditions that had started to pack down the sand.

My only mild complaint is that the greens had just recently been through the aerification process, so they were bumpy and somewhat inconsistent. Thanks to wet conditions and lots of residual sand still on most of the greens, putting speed was hard to gauge and breaks were much less prevalent than what I would expect in the summer.

I am certainly interested in returning and playing here again when the greens are healed up and rolling more consistently than what I encountered today.

I feel there should be some notification when a course is aerating

It really takes away from the enjoyment of a round of golf

They were not properly backfilled in and putting was impossible

Should have been a discounted rate

Was not allowed to play due to frost on the ground. They said course was unplayable. I would like my money refunded please.

I could write a story about this course. I should write a story about this course. But I won't. Just go if you haven't.

Always love playing this course, pace was great and course condition better than any of the public courses and some privates I play.

There are a few very tough holes but there are equally a few very easy ones to offset the tough ones

I really like this course! It's both challenging and forgiving! The greens and fairways were for the most part in really good shape ,although the bunkers were like cement. I try to play this course two or three times a year, and will continue to do so!

This course was in immaculate shape considering all the inclement weather that the area has incurred this season. Such an extremely wet spring and now the extreme heat of summer. The maintenance staff has done an outstanding job. From tee to green the course is visually appealing esthetically to the eye. Greens rolled true.

And the golf course staff was very friendly and welcoming from the pro shop to the starter/ranger and also the beverage cart girl.

It is the perfect place to enjoy a round of golf.

Great course in great condition. My overall review would be great if not for a few exceptions. One, if you aren't with a group of 3 or 4 they force you to play with another group of 2. Not that I mind meeting new people but it hasn't always been great. Today, it worked out fine. We played with nice guys and they played ready golf. Last year, we got paired up with guys shooting 9's and 10's on every hole and the round took forever. The other issue is they frown on bringing your own beverages which I understand but we didnt see beverage cart until the 16th hole. On a very hot day, that wasn't cool. Otherwise, great course and I will play again.
