Other than being asked to speed up at the turn (we were on a 2hr 15min pace w/a 2some in front of our 4some), it was all good.
The course is average but challenging (par 3s and a long par 5) on occasion. The greens were in good shape and the rough was manageable. Limited water and a rather accurate scorecard helps avg duffers from unexpected hazards. More yardage markers (or make the ones available more visible) would be helpful. Once you've played this course twice, not knowing where the next tee box is located (except #10) becomes less frustrating. Food offering equal to bar food and the cart person made very regular rounds.
I like how the course is laid out. Lot's of up and downs (hills) and just enough water to make you think before you hit.
I've played there at least 50 times over the years. The course is in much better shape now compared to when I lived in North Aurora many year's ago. I like it because it's a challenge for me. I also like it because the holes/fairways are user friendly. I don't always hit the ball straight and the fairways are very forgiving. Not to mention on off line shots when you find yourself in a little trouble it's not that hard to recover, which makes you feel better about your golf game.
A real fun Golf course
Greens are in excellent shape. Course is hilly and wide open. Ideal for the high handicap golfer.
Challenging course for a beginner
This was a challenging course for a beginner, but a moderate course for a more experienced golfer. The greens and fairways were in great shape. It rained for about an hour during our round which made things slick, but we were still able to enjoy ourselves. I would recommend this course to others.

Great course and conditions for adequate price.
The course was in nice condition. The holes were not too challenging but enjoyable to play. Summer Shandy's at the clubhouse made the round.
