Foss Park Golf Course has a convenient location in North Chicago that is an easy drive in from the city. It's a public course that is known amongst locals for being one of the area's best golf values. The layout is wide-open save for three holes that are framed by towering mature trees. The golf course strikes a good balance between being challenging and playable. The fairways are narrow and demand accuracy but the massive greens are more forgiving. Each hole offers a variety of different playing options, which makes the course appealing to a wide range of skill levels. The golf course has plenty of sand, plus water hazards come into play on several holes. There is also a driving range and large practice putting green available at Foss Park G.C.

Great course and great value!
When I booked this tee time I was slightly concerned that the course may be a little rough as I had not played there before. When we arrived to the course I was immediately impressed with the facilities. The putting green and driving range were very well maintained. The Starter was very informed and very friendly. The fairways were great and the greens were very consistent. The only thing I was slightly unhappy with was the golf cart I was driving was a bit slow and had seen better days. However, this did not affect my opinion on the course or my decision to play it again in the near future.
The course is fun to play for the average senior golfer.
Like the course. Have played it a few times. GOLF NOW could use a few more tee times in the early to mid morning range. would plat it a lot more if you did.
Course is a good value for the money
Except for the slow play this course was very enjoyable.
Nice Course
Nothing fancy, but well maintained with friendly staff, a nice putting green and driving range. For the money I will be back.
Foss Park
As always Foss Park was in great shape. Moved very well and we were only a twosome.

Pace of play for a week day morning -- ridiculous --
mainly caused by groups playing from the back tees --
where they did not belong.
At one time, there were 5 groups on the par 5 13th hole.
Great course
First time playing this course and I was reserved because of the North Chicago location. This course was great and in a different location with no power lines it would easily be a $60 a round course. Greens were large and fast, but easy to read. Fairways were narrow and the course has a lot of trees. Course was well manicured and balls were easy to find. Would play again and often.
Great round
Staff let us go out early to beat the rain & we did so by about 30 mins : Greens were aerated about a week ago & are close to being back to normal.
Great for a relaxing round - and no houses or condo's!!!!
Foss Park is great for a relaxing round of golf. The fairways are pretty open and the rough is short so you shouldn't lose too many balls. There are some trees and water to navigate so you'll still have to hit 'em straight but at least you won't feel like the course is trying to kill you. The staff is very friendly and didn't mind us going back to play a hole we skipped to get past a slow foursome. The course is well maintained and the greens are nice to putt on. The ball rolls smooth and doesn't hop around like you get on other public courses. This will be a regular stop for me this summer with the great deals on Golf Now.

Just tried the course for first time. Good conditions and friendly staff. Will definitely come back
Great value course, well maintained
Played on a Monday at 1 pm as a single and was able to get done in around 3.5 hours. Course is fairly easy without too many challenges, but still great value and course is in great shape with good greens and fairways if you wanna get out there and work on your game.
Awesome course as always!
I was playing by myself and I didn't mind skipping two holes just to get by. It is the beginning of the season and just trying to get back in the groove. I finish in less than two hours and it was fun! Great course and the rate I bought online was almost free. Thanks Golfnow!!!
