Golfer Reviews
Pace of play was horrible and identified by ranger after fourth hole. It was not seriously acted on until after 13th hole which it obviously clear foursome ahead of us was two holes behind. Kind talk is nice , but pace of play should be a priority The foursome was either oblivious or disrespectful. This is a persistent problem at Oak Brook and management should act by making people skip a hole , etc. Ps, we passed on 14 and never saw them again, Wonder if they are finished today. . OB can do better
Not a bad track.
Things moved along nicely. Bunch of shortish par 4s, fairways n greens in decent shape. Friendly staff great brat in the 1/2 way house. No bev cart otherwise would have been 5*s.
Great course, need to move pace of play faster
I play this course 25+ times a year. One of my favorites! But this year the pace of play is way too slow and not corrected by rangers.
Great course, fun lay out
The course was in great condition. Played from the blue tees and for longer hitters it’s usually driver-wedge most holes but there are a few very challenging holes the require precision. Pace of play was average, took about 4.5 hours for 18. For $80 this is a fun beautiful course.
Pace was horrible
The group in front of us were regulars I guess so we never saw the ranger tell them to pick up the pace. It took 4.5 hours to play 18. Staff was super friendly and the starter was awesome.
Oakbrook
Excellent place to okay. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly.

6 hour torture fest
6 hours for a round of golf?!?
Have played this course numerous times with my sons but sadly Sunday was the last time we will play there. To make matters worse, the Ranger was part of the problem and not solution. He was abusive to my sons for playing the blue tees (9 and 11 handicap respectively) arguing we were the reason for slow play, despite the fact we waited EVERY shot (no lie)
The new amenities are beautiful but this place has lost its focus on what is important…golf.
