Inaugural round
Greens were sloped and very fast. The starter did make us aware of that. He stated don’t be behind the flag, he was spot on with that!
I like everything about the course, it's in great condition and I enjoy playing here. The staff is very friendly and I only have one negative thing to say
The pace of play was just unbearable. Had to pack it up after 9 and I appreciate the course for honoring a rain check for the back 9 so kudos to them. Maybe it was just a bad day
Pace
They need to spread out tee times. At one point from the 3rd hole to the 5th hole there were 7 groups
Good course but slow
The course is a good value however there are few if any rangers out to improve pace of play. Some holes had 2+ groups on the tee box.
Beautiful course, but terrible pace of play
I like the course. It is beautifully maintained and has a nice layout. However, there was never once a Ranger to get slower players to pick up the pace and our round took over 5 hours and we shot 80 and 84 respectively. I will not be returning to play there anytime soon.
Horribly slow. Don’t go!
Teed off at 2:55pm as a duo, by 3rd tee were waiting. 2 groups in front of us dropped at the turn, still slow. By 13 we were waiting at the box watching 2 groups in front of us and the group in front of us tee off. 20min wait. By 17 tee box it was 7:25 (already 4:20 into round) and there were 3 groups waiting in front of us to tee off with the 4th on the par 3 green, easily another 30min wait. Then 18 par 5 was a log jam… people who had just finished wait it was an hour to play the final 2 holes!
We would have had a 5:30 round so we called it after 16z when we spoke to people at the counter after they told us every round in Friday’s is 5+ hours and 5:30 was normal.
Had to play with
I was forced to ride with someone I didn’t know. He had holes in his shirt and food smeared all over it.
Nice course in good condition
Course was in very nice condition, greens reasonably fast. Hadn't played here in a number of years but enjoyed it and would go back. Staff was very friendly.
SLOW Play on overbooked Sunday
Expected a casual Sunday round but the course was so overbooked players were bailing after 8 or 9 holes. Rangers were out but to no avail. Spent more time watching the walkers with umbrellas holes ahead of us zig-zag their way across an otherwise solid course. Avoid the weekend I guess.
