Odyssey Golf Course

Nice higher level course in good condition. Traps were typical condition for Chicago area in this price range. Greens were excellent. If you complain about tee boxes you’re just crabby lol. Will return.

Course seems to be in poor condition, although some of this might have been caused by severe weather in last month some is construction on going of town houses nearby literally playing in mud at times

I love this course yesterday didn’t change that. However the 4 ball in front of us took 2 hours to play the front nine. It took us 3 hours to play the back nine. The starter came by them on the tenth and left we never saw him again. In many occasions they had the opportunity to allow us to play through. They didn’t. They also had no idea as to how to use the golf cart on the course leaving to occupant to walk long distances from call to cart.

It was a disgrace to see I would hope at some point they will realise it’s not wrong to call players through if you hold them up.

The course grounds were awful half of it was underwater very muddy branches everywhere and water play was very slow

The course in general was set up as well as a private course, greens, fairways and rough. The only negative on the course are their sand traps, the condition of the traps were awful, no sand in most traps. Overall rating without the sand trap situation was fantastic, country club quality!

Course was in decent shape. Pace a play was a little slow. 4:20 to play 18. The greens were in good shape but people weren’t fixing their divots.

The course is in bad shape. Tee boxes squeezed very small and tore up. Sand-traps are horrible. No sand, Full of weeds. Fairway on some holes tore up with tire tracks. Rough uncut. Been playing here since it opened but won't be going back anytime soon until they groom it as a golf course again. Very neglected!!!

This course used to be a very nice public course. Not sure what has happened but it is no longer being maintained as well as it once was. Tee boxes aren’t mowed, bunkers are disasters, and lots of drainage problems. Carts were also very old and felt like they would fall apart at any minute. Greens are a bit shaggy but decent and fairways are in decent shape so it isn’t a total disaster but hopefully someone turns around the deteriorating conditions before it is too late

We played here on Memorial Day and I booked it again for the following week because I was so impressed for the respect they have for the veterans of our country! Every pin had the American flag as well as a stand to the side of every green to place the pin when putting in order not to disrespect the flag when removed!!! Thoughtful, appropriate, and full respect to this course. The following week played slow @ close to five hours, but would go back again due to the quality and staff & the respect mentioned! A good layout!

They book foursomes every 6 minutes or so. I left 3 holes early and was there 4+ hours. Insane

This was my first time playing this course. The staff was very friendly, the greens were in good shape. We just had a heavy rain so there was some standing water in spots but not much they can do about that.
