Nice little course
No par 5s and the longest par 4 is 330, so it essentially takes out the frequently seen 200 yard approach shot. Makes for a much easier round of golf! Very nice little course
Used to be a great course
Course is in bad shape and used to be a much better value for what you paid. Since every course in the world raised their prices, sugar creek was no different. However courses invested into something like renovating the course, upkeep, or new carts. Sugar creek…none of that. Course is in bad shape and the drainage system doesn’t even exist. Roughs are so bad and greens and tee boxes are not in best condition. You want to play here, play If it is on a hot deal, otherwise go somewhere you can get a better bang for your buck. Oh and the starter? Not the friendliest and nicest to deal with.
course was great, clubhouse manager was awesome. however we did not finish the 9 holes because of the weather in effect, how do I get credits back to my account?
Really like the recent improvements to the wetlands. Beautiful!
Not worth the price.
Course is being renovated. Many areas with overgrown grass and do not enter signs. The course before all this was already over priced. But now they raised the price while the course is dug up. It’s an absolute rip off. Also, the pace of play is terrible. No one to keep people moving, kids/young adults. Out there shooting 2,3 balls off the tee box, taking 5 mins to find their ball. Just over all a terrible experience. I will not be back. 40$ for a 2000 yard course that’s dug up?

Sugar Creek
First playing this course in several years. Several roped /staked off areas, and long grass/weeds that should be cut. Staked areas on at least three holes with do not enter signs. They have also changed some holes around since last time playing there. Challenging course, but appeal with roped/staked areas turned me off. The fairways and greens and tee boxes were in good shape. Lots of new golfers to the game and couples made for a long nine holes.
