Over priced and unfriendly staff
I’ve gone to this golf course a handful of times. In the past two rounds The course continues to be tore up. However, they are still asking full price. The speed of play is quite slow. The last time took 2 1/2 hours to complete nine holes. The course doesn’t know how to, kindly keep up The pace of play. The staff there is rude, sarcastic, and when I asked them why they didn’t pick up their phone when I called because the patient play was so slow they said it’s Saturday. I asked that I’d be compensated and again I get more sarcastic remarks which turns into profanity. Show me unnecessary and not why I am coming to play golf to deal with poor customer service. If you’re looking for a nine hole, I would suggest looking somewhere else unless you constantly want to be in hazards and if anything comes up that needs to be addressed there’s no customer service unless it’s for customer service.
Good course that needs a ranger.
Nice course going through some updating. Definitely need a ranger to keep things moving. Three and a half hours to play nine holes is crazy slow.

Value lacking
It was a bit pricey for a 9 hole course. Losing balls just out of fairway and in zones where they block off areas. I could see the ball and dozens of other ones. Pace of play was slow. We had people yelling at us to go, but we couldn’t start the hole yet. I will play elsewhere.

Sugar Creek
Course is under renovation around their ponds, but shouldn't be a problem for most people. Otherwise, course has 5 par 4s a couple of long par 3s.

Lacking for the price
For the price, I’d expect far better conditions especially in the greens. They are very chewed up for being the beginning of the season.
If 9 holes was $15, I would say it’s a good price for the course, but over $30 for 9 holes with a cart seems way to high given the conditions.

Great 9 hole course
Great course started playing this course ending of last year and it was nice and now it’s even nicer. The staff is so great and friendly. I book my tee time on line and when I walk in they greet you by your name that is awesome love the course and I will recommend anyone there and I will continue to play my 9 there if not playing an 18 hole
Price
With all the shoreline restoration and pond renovationon the first four holes were not so much fun.I must have seen a thousand balls in the restoration area. It's not fun loosing one or two balls on each of the first four holes. My gripe is this, with all the incovenience they should have redued the green fees to compensate. I believe that they raised them instead. I play on a course that is being restored and they reduced the price by $5.
Go figure.
I have my reasons but I'll continue to play here .

Nice 9 hole, but slow
Weekend peak times are rough. Par 3s can be backed up 3-4 groups waiting. Fun course with easier layout nonetheless.
