About
Mystic Oak Golf Course in Waterloo has a diverse layout that seems to play a little differently each time you're on it. The layout features long, winding fairways and gently sloping greens, which are framed by a slew of strategically placed bunkers. There are also many water hazards that come into play throughout the golf course. The gently rolling terrain has subtle ups and downs that provide tricky uneven lies. The back nine is uniquely divided into three par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each. The golf course will test your short-game skills but the lengthy par 5s offer driving opportunities for long hitters as well. Mystic Oak Golf Course is player friendly enough for a wide range of skill levels but you may be surprised to find yourself using all the clubs in your bag.

You couldn’t asked for a nicer day to play. The course was in as a course could be in Feb.
Great weather, slooooow play!
Always enjoy playing this course but the group in front of us were so slow we were able to go in get a sandwich and a beer at the turn and the next 3 holes (10, 11, & 12) were a pleasure because they were 3 holes ahead of us; then we caught them on 13! Its hard when your in a groove and then have to stand and wait and wait and wait! Not the course fault but they could use a Marshall there.
Great first visit!
I having driven by the course many times finally got ronplay a round. Started a bit slow and cold but pace of play was great after that. For mid November, things were great. I can'tvwait ro go back knthe spring and next year and see it when the course is green.

Golfed for my birthday , perfect weather perfect pace good conditions , had an incredible burger like legit was impressed by the food I had after 9 that mr bbq ain’t no joke
Played on a Friday, which is usually slow play so we knew what to expect.
Not a course we play regularly. T boxes were VERY dry. Hole #16 presents the biggest challenge.
Insanely rude staff
I’ve played at this course before and the course is beautiful. I brought my friend out who never played so he could enjoy this course. Tee time was 1:40pm and we arrived at 1:20pm. Checked in and they said there was a scramble going on and we might have to wait and start on the back nine due to another event at 3 that closed the back nine. While warming up at the putting green, one of the workers drove by and said there’s more people delayed with the scramble and would have to wait till all of them had passed. Never giving us a time on when we could play and with another event at 3. We decided to leave and wanted our money back and they said it couldn’t be done and would have to contact GolfNow. It’s absolutely ridiculously they offer tee times if there’s no room for people to play. The only thing we got was “we don’t know how long events last”. Then don’t allow scheduling. Not a single apology was given and made it like we were inconveniencing them for showing up at our paid tee time. I called GolfNow and got refunded and the the representative said “the owner has band you from playing here”. This just goes to show how they treat you as a customer. You’re not the only good golf course out here and I know the owner doesn’t care about your time or money. Such a shame for a beautiful course.
