Country Oaks Golf Club

We’ve played here once or twice a year for the last 15 years and this time it was horrible. They start you on the back 9 because it’s not “too bad” to start off but the greens on every hole are terrible and 4 of the holes the green is closed and a makeshift green in the fairway. Would not recommend until they fix the issues!

Usually a great course but apparently not taking care of the greens correctly because there is no greens. Half were shut down other half should have been. Course needs shutdown and someone needs hired that knows what they're doing. Used to be a great course

I think all the greens had some kind of disease, the greens were just gone. Could not putt on them.

Really good value. The fairways, and tee boxes were in good shape. There are challenging tees to make it fun for all levels. The big problem are the greens. It was very rare to find a green that had a clear path of grass from your ball to the hole. The grass that was on the green was like a thick carpet. Everything else is really great and the price is so good that it’s not a huge deal but the greens are bad. We just gave ourselves 2 strokes for hitting the green and 1 stroke of within 4 ft (generous I know!).

Played last week while out of town. I’m not familiar with the area and price seemed great so I gave it a try only to find out why the price was cheap- greens are basically unplayable, almost no grass at all. Fairways and tee boxes were good, landscaping is great, but greens were by far the worst I’ve ever seen on a course, and it was every single green.

No grass left on most of the greens. One of them is closed and they’re utilizing a temporary green but the remaining greens are nowhere near acceptable playing condition. No warm food at the turn on a Sunday afternoon in July. I’ve always enjoyed driving down to this course once or twice a year but I won’t be back unless they fix the greens. Course has no business being open in this shape.

The course was in very good shape and pace of play was as expected for a beautiful Saturday in June. One minor issue, not the best hot dogs at the turn. Small and unremarkable. The cart was a different issue. The parking break would NOT lock until stomped at least 5 times. By the end of the round I was using words normally reserved for my less than mediocre golf shots to the cart at every stop.

I was pleasantly surprised when we started. The value for the money. Greens are great! Overall, will play here again.

Really nice course. Fun to play. Other groups let me play through which I appreciated.
