Sultan's Run Golf Course

I really wanted to give a 4.8 instead of 4 to course conditions as the only problems were a lot of unrepaired ball marks on the greens. Fairways, tees and bunkers were immaculate. Staff is always friendly. The price has gone up in the last couple of years, but the course is worth it. Pro shop is very good and the selections on the menu are very good for ir not being a full service restaurant.

I can't afford $100+ rounds very often but since it is only a 50 min. drive, I will always try to play this course once or twice a year.

My Son and I played the course recently and loved it! We are from north central Indiana and the land where we normally play is fairly flat. The elevation changes on this course are dramatic and add to the vastness of the natural beauty throughout the course. This course make me want to move to southern Indiana!!!!

Course was not in very good condition even with the great weather the area's been having. Much better courses around the area for the money.

If you are going to aerate, which I totally get, you need to inform prior to play. No one wants to play of recently punched greens that are so fresh, it’s like putting on a beach. Not once during the booking or at check in with the clubhouse did anyone inform me that the greens were just punched two days prior. I would have never paid the fee and left and went somewhere else. The pro shop attendant tried to tell me he told me but then backtracked after I called him out. The course offered to provide me a rain check but since I already played 9, they wouldn’t offer. They said I should have mentioned something prior to the turn. What was I supposed to do, get to the first green and drive back? No you just say something at the turn. Management tried to get involved and they were an absolute joke saying I should assume all courses are in this condition in October!

In addition to the greens being a beach, maintenance staff were out rolling the greens on some holes during play. I get but most would stop to allow play to go through. Not in this case. The guy had no intention of stopping during my approach or while I was putting.

Lastly, sprinklers were going off on some of the greens while trying to play. So not only are you playing on sand, now I’m getting sprayed wet cuz they are watering at 2p during the day.

Beautiful course, will never go back. Our group was confronted by a man later learned to be the "owner" accusing us of stealing a cooler, before even teeing off. The encounter totally unwarranted stayed with our group the entire round. As nice as the course was, I will never return nor recommend it.

I can’t speak highly enough about this beautiful and fantastic course. The views are surreal and fairways/greens were extremely well maintained. The cherry on top….the staff/amenities were amazing. I can’t wait to come back and play it again!!!

Great layout and in wonderful shape. Very picturesque layout from start to finish. Strong par 3's. Enjoyed every minute of my visit - two times around! Plan to go there again when I have the chance.

Was in French Lick - right next to the French Lick Golf clubs - yikes crazy expensive... Sultan Run is super well located and the layout is amazing. Sadly it was a sodden mess due to 4-5 inches of rain but YET the course played very fair. It was long and hard even a tee up from the back. I had a lot of long irons in. I wish it was hard and fast because the course would have played so much differently ... but the staff, amenities and course are spectacular. They treated me as a member.

Beautiful course well maintained. The front side is quite hilly and very challenging. The backside was a little easier, but the holes are breathtaking, and number 18 is a site to be seen. We enjoyed our round very much, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, offered true customer service unlike a lot of other courses nowadays. We’ll definitely be back.

From the bag drop to returning the cart the hospitality was a 10/10, the fairways and greens were in mint condition. Highly recommend.

This course was beatiful and well maintained. The staff was courteous and more than helpful. There is nothing lacking in this course. It is challenging, but fun. It was super hot on the day I was there but still was well worth the time. This has many elevation changes and reminds me of up north golf in Michigan. DO NOT WALK THIS COURSE. It will take you 6 hours with no one ahead of you if you choose to walk. This might be the best finish to a golf course with a "U" shaped waterfall on the 18th green. Photos of the finish don't do justice to this masterpeice that is the 18th green. Come see it for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

If you like rolling hills and beautiful views you MUST play this course. It's not easy. Greens are difficult. BUT we really enjoyed the challenge. Will return soon.

Great scenery and value for the price, challenging but not overly hard, nice proshop, driving range, and restaurant. Able to offer food from the cart before teeing off on the 9th and was ready at the turn, friendly staff
