Shadowood Golf Course

highly recommend this course. Although the fairway grass has not recuperated from winter kill it still is very playable. After all the previous wknd rain the course was still fairly dry even if it was cart path only . Still we moved along pretty well. I had a shaft pulled at the pro shop and couldn't be more satisfied, was going to do it while we played but had it done before we left the practice green. Outstand service. Play this course if you get a chance.

Feb 20 and eighty in Indiana , and the course was drier than I expected it would be for this time of the year. It was in really good shape, greens were fine , could drive in the rough, all in all a great outing. Will definitely be back next good opportunity.

this is a really enjoyable and some what challenging course. greens are fast and in great shape. fairways are dormant, but still very playable. staff in pro shop are somewhat unfriendly to those that book online. aside from that, quite a pleasurable afternoon of golf.

I do like Shadowood. It can be difficult if you get into one of the many greenside or fairway bunkers. Greens rolled very nice for winter. The tee beds are in great condition for November.
GolfNow offers 2 Hot Deals for this course, one a 9:00am and the other at 9:07am. On this November morning in Indiana, at 8:30, it was 45 and a forecast high of 60. There were 6 different groups, waiting for the proshop to open @ 9:30. We did get out, and played in 3 1/2 hrs.

Shadowood is a nice course to play. Took my wife, and that made it a little patience tester for me but overall it was a good morning. Course is in good shape

course was in good shape. Very windy the day I played and multiple green side bunkers were problematic. Overall a very enjoyable course.

The manager/owner Ryan Myer acted as if we were an inconvenience to him. I reported to the pro shop and told him we had booked our golf on line. Ryan said you can go ahead. He did not say Thank You or have a nice day or enjoy your round of golf. We have played at this course many times.

The course was very nice. great fairways and fast greens. Playing pace was around 4 hours no rushing or waiting. The Co owner was very rude to us because we booked through you. Very disappointed be cause we " aren't supporting our local course" I have never been treated this way by a course we booked through you. When I noticed that he was rude to us and my team mates I asked him if he was upset because we booked online and he went off.

The layout was high quality "old school" with lots of mature hardwood trees requiring good shot making and Donald Ross type greens that "spit" your ball off if hit in the wrong location. i was pleasantly surprised at the quality and value.

I was, however, not thrilled with the service. i had driven about 50 miles to play this course for the first time. The owner met me with a sneer and was very unpleasant when he found out i booked on golfnow. he felt i wasn't supporting my local course. well, it wasn't my local course.

This was my first time playing this course and I will definitely be back to play again. The course offers some really challenging holes but not too difficult for a beginning golfer. Fairways and Greens were in great shape and I had a great time. Can't wait to go back!

This was my day off weather was excellent course was in great condition. The greens and fairways were nicely manicured.

Shadowood is very enjoyable course to play. Good greens and multiple tee boxes.

Their fairways looked much better than most others in this area, that have burmuda.

Course is in great shape. I got hot deal for 15, normal price for that Sunday was 45. I dont like paying that much for golf as I am not that great of a player, but probably would for this course. Only complaint I could have is the cart paths are a little rough, but who cares.

They are working on the course to repair bald spots. Overall in better shape than last time I played a year ago.

Course was in sketchy shape with several locations in the fairway marked as ground under repair - mainly on the front 9. Although the area had recently received a large amount of rain, the fairways were being watered which made them very wet in places - we had to play lift, clean and place.

Did not honor the agreed to price. Many fairways in bad shape. Played behind three very slow men. After 3 1/2 hours only had played 12 holes, we quit and left.
