A true hidden gem
I was super impressed playing here for the first time. The bunkering is the definitely the star of the show in my opinion along with a cool collection of par 3s. The five par 5s give you some good opportunities to go low. It’s a bit of a drive for me personally but I’ll be back for sure.
Nice local course
This is a nice local course with some interesting features. the greens are decent but the fairways are a bit thin. The upkeep is good, although the gas cart I was using ran out of gas after 9. Friendly staff and the grounds folks are accomodating with noise and such.

Shadowood greens and fairways were in perfect shape!
First spring outing
Light rain and 50° for 9:15 tee off. Weather improved over the round. Needs overseed, but the greens are pretty good! Lots of wind fall from the recent storm.
Nice course in Seymour, horrible pace of play
I really like this course. I felt like it was in really good shape especially for the money. The sand was plush and the greens rolled true. The staff was very friendly, and Shadowood was very easy to get to right off the interstate. The pace of play was my only gripe. We took nearly 3 hours to play the back 9 with only one group in front of us. Dad and I had a great time all and all. Be mindful that you won't get around fast if your playing here.
