Very Good Municipal Course
The course was built in two phases with the front 9 built in the 70s by Bill Newcomb and the back @ built in the 99s by the Gary Kern. Hilly does not do this course justice. The front 9 is hilly, the back 9 is wild and was a blast to play.
The layout uses the wild terrain well and the greens are modern with plenty of undulation. The course conditions were good on the front and below average on the back. One of my favorite courses in the Hoosier State.
Great Find
This was the first we played the course and given late October, we were not sure what to expect.
However, it turned out to be a great day of golf. The course was equally challenging and approachable. We had a blast. The staff was pleasant and we all agreed that this was a great find for future rounds.
Been a few years
I had not played this course for a few years. The course was in great shape. Greens were nicer than I remembered. 5 star experience
Well maintained
It was a great course, the fairways were the best I have played on. The back nine was stunning and I can’t wait to play it in the fall.
Excellent course
The course was fun with some challenges. Front and back nines are completely different. Course was overbooked and slow play. For the price we paid it was worth it.
pristine shape
fairways were rolling and greens were decently quick. not much rough around but trees could be a problem if not in fairways. first time playing and really enjoyed the course. kudos to grounds and mangmt. on course urse condition.
Excellent City Course
By far, the best city course I have ever played. The greens, fairways and tee boxes we in fantastic shape. I highly recommend this course.
One of the nicest courses around
Fairways and greens very much taken care of. Back 9 is hard AF though. Play the front 9 only if you’re a newbie.
