Solid track
Course was in great shape. Challenging greens. You must drive the ball well here with trouble lurking everywhere.
Great links course
Great place to play. A lot of fun. Pace of play was slow due to 3 groups of 4 going out with 4 groups of 2 behind them.
Hidden Gem
Really nice course just North of Indy. Played the Brickyard the day before and the guys I played with suggested I go here. Links style with plenty of tee boxes to challenge you.
I'll Be Back
Course was in perfect shape minus the bunkers, which were a bit damp due to the overnight rain. This was my first time playing this course, and I will be back. It was recommended to me by a number of people, and they were right. The greens are quick and tough.
A+
This is my favorite coarse, TOUGH is an understatement.
ALWAYS in top notch shape and the staff is amazing. The young man filling water jugs was working really hard on this hot day. Play it you will not be disappointed.
Good value
Country setting and it's relaxing to be out here. Always in good shape.
Great links style course!
Nothing quite like it in the area. Great course that really makes you think before hitting your shots! I'd recommend this to any golfer looking for a links style course. It plays long though, ask the staff where you should play from before teeing off on 1 based on your handicap, because if you don't you could cause yourself to have a ruff day. I played from the white tees and shot a 95 and I'm an 18-handicap.
LOVED IT!!
As stated this was my first experience with this FINE track, and definitely wont be my last. Coarse was in fantastic shape considering the amount of rain that it has taken. Greens were blazing fast!!! Gosh whatta pleasure.
One of the best
It's been raining for 40 days and this course was barely wet! The track takes water very well. Every other course around was cart path only or closed from rain. Played for $24 and it was a steal. Love it and can't wait to go back
Superb Course!!
Tee'd off on time, well manicured everywhere. Beautiful, rolling, difficult course with equally difficult pin positions. Great experience and a great, but frustrating, challenge!
Would definitely recommend!
If u haven't played this course before, study the course layout the night before!
Great Golf Course
Trophy Club is one of my favorite courses. I have been playing here a few times a year for the last five years. The course is demanding with generous fairways and very large greens. The day I played the greens were very fast. We played in less than four hours and it was very enjoyable as always.
Great Course!
This cours is now one of my favorites. I did not know anything about the course untill I played it and fell in love. The links style offer a new challenge for most golfers. This course is very tough and demanding but offers a level of difficulty that most courses don't offer. Great course! Will go play again!
Memorial Day Weekend
Course in very good condition. Fairways firm and greens putted true. it appears much needed work has been done to bunker complexes. Sadly, all the positives were negated by horrific pace of play. I expected slow play on a holiday weekend but 5:30 is unacceptable. Far too many bad players playing from the wrong tees. A pity.
Course Knowledge
Trophy Club may be one of the best bargains in central Indy. Course conditions are always good with an emphasis put on the greens. They roll true and are always on the fast side. That being said, it is vital that you know the pin placement and leave yourself on the right side of the cup.
interesting greens
great course and it will get better as the year goes on
Open
This is an open course with some great locations for the water. Aim and you will do good!
Great time, great price especially in March!
Picked this course b/c it's one of my favorites, and about halfway between my buddy's house & mine. I play here at least once a year and was counting on course being well drained after the soaking we'd taken last week. Great decision, course was in great shape. Very few mud balls. Greens were good, a little grainy, but it's Mar. Bunkers hadn't been raked yet, so we pulled the ball out when we were greenside. Wind was up, so there were some long holes into it! Nice time - if you've not played here before you should.
great layout
course for being November 11th was in great shape. I really like the layout and course conditions. Greens were in great shape and bunkers were raked. However, the carts were gas operated and the cart paths were in poor condition. I would like to see for the amount spent to maintain the course that the golf carts would be upgraded to electric. It would also be nice if they fixed the cart paths. I tried to avoid the cart paths at all costs in order to save my lower back.
This coarse is spread out. So you never know what around the corner. Has a lot of dog legs.
This is a beautiful golf coarse. You better be on your putting game or it will be a long day.
Great challenging course
First time playing Trophy Club. The pace of play was relatively slow as a number of golfers were out on what might have been one of the last warm days before winter. Course is one of the most challenging I have personally played and I found it difficult at times although I think now that I have played it once I want to definitely come back again now that I have a feel for the layout. Only real complaint was the with golf carts. They seemed a bit worn and were gas vs. electric. No pick up and we could smell the exhaust. Also, no GPS but they provided a booklet with a page on each hole. The book was in pretty bad shape. Hopefully, they are planning to upgrade to electric carts with GPS over the winter for next season.
