Great course
This course is a great course for someone who doesn’t want to break their bank. Greens aren’t terribly fast and some of the fairways are hard but over all it’s a great place to play.
Good Municipal Course
Sunrise is a solid municipal course. It was in very good condition when I played. The greens were in excellent shape and the fairways well maintained. My main complaint with the course is that it only has one cut of rough (high) next to the fairway. So you can often hit a nice drive and have it trickle a few inches into deep rough. Add a first cut! The other issue is not course related -- just people related. As with any municipal course, there are many players lacking golf etiquette leading to sand traps that aren't raked, very slow foursomes and season-pass players jumping around the course rather than playing holes in order.
Gone completely downhill
I have played this Course for 20 years and always loved it. In the past two years, it has been so neglected….. The carts are dirty, there are anthills all over the greens and tee boxes are not mowed
Fun your got to go at your pace greens little ruff on some holes but was fun
Go it a great place love the carts comfortable seats and the gps on the carts is awesome we will go again for sure !
Awful
I know the course was recently purchased but it was nearly unplayable. That greens were ate up with algae and the fairways were horrible. That back nine shouldn’t even be open there were uprooted trees and massive areas of mud in the middle of fairways and the mud smelled like pig manure.
Beat course ever
This course is the definition of a solid golf course. I love this place with my whole heart.

Second time playing the course. Pretty straight forward, well maintained.
Fun and worth the drive
Came down from Columbus and had a good time. Fairways were firm and running out great. Greens are always a big part of how i judge a course and these rolled true and took little effort to get the ball rolling. I wouldnt say they were fast but they move real well. We will be back!
Course is a good value. Was just aerated so greens were rough. Anything bad with course is easily outweighed by the good.
