South at Michigan City Municipal Golf Course

Overall I really enjoyed this course. They have a very fair price for someone who doesn’t wanna break the bank but also golf a beautiful and challenging course. Definitely will be going back and taking the crew.

Have played a few early rounds out here now and have enjoyed both. Course is in great shape, pace of play was quick, well worth the money overall.

It seems golf is a bit trendy and everywhere prices have been raised. Time and time again I have depended on this course for good rates. Always worth golfing here for around 30 bucks

greens were rolling as well as fairways. starter did a great job explaining northern Indiana junior golf tournament being played and when course would open at a normal rate. played in about 3 hours. just a nice municipal course. kudos to ground maintenance crew.

The course was in decent shape, but it was painfully slow. We waited on every single hole. It would have taken over 5 hours to finish the round. I skipped the last two holes and left after 4.5+ hours!

I finished the front nine at 12:45 and was hoping to grab a quick hot dog, hamburger, or even a sandwich. They had nothing available which made for even a longer back nine.

Good value for the money. Greens fairways and tee boxes in good condition. Not a long course and not many traps, but an enjoyable round.

Always worth golfing here if you get it under 30 bucks. Such a deal. The regular 42 bucks for 18 and a cart is overrated IMO

This is an ideal place for the average amateur’s practice round of 18. Fairways are pretty much wide and straight. Few dog legs but overall the course is not very challenging with very little water (if any). Lots of 5-some groups on the course. Not that it matters because you’ll still finish in under 4 hours as the course is extremely short even from the tips. Fun little course to just knock the rust off or tackle specific parts of your game you struggle with for a cheap price.

Always enjoy the golf at Michigan City Municipal South Course. Greens were in good shape. Had some zip to them. The overall course conditions were also good. Tee boxes were good, fairways were excellent. Rough was thick in places. The only downside would be the bunkers. Between players not raking properly (if at all) and the bunkers needing better drainage and more sand. I was only in one but others in my group weren't thrilled with the condition of them. Friendly staff as always. Perfect weather made for an overall fun day.

Played mid morning on a perfect weekday morning. Tee boxes, greens and traps all in great shape. The course was still drying out from precious couple of days of rain, they had wet areas well marked so staying dry wasn’t an issue. A couple of mud balls, but course was lush and grass was thick in rough and very nice in fairways.

The folks who maintain this course care about conditions and it shows. We had several foursomes in front of us but pace was decent as we finished in 3:45.

Keep up the great work guys, staff was also welcoming.
