At Widgi Creek Golf Club, you'll discover the most comprehensive golf, sports and fitness environment in the Northwest. Start with a full eighteen holes of championship golf that meander beneath huge pines along the rim of the dramatic Deschutes River Canyon. Add practical, hands-on tips from one of the area's finest staffs of golf professionals.
Designed by Robert Muir Graves in 1989, Widgi Creek is over 6900 yards and plays to a par of 72. The course is a challenge to every level of player. Characterized by fast undulation greens, it is considered one of the top 5 courses in the area. Golf Digest called Widgi Creek, "the sleeper in Central Oregon" and Golf Magazine called it a "must play". Widgi Creek will always be considered to be among the best maintained in the area.
After the round, relax at The Grill or shop the fully stocked pro shop. The Grill provides tasty light fair with daily specials for lunch and dinner. Both indoor and outdoor facilities are available with a marvelous expanded outdoor deck that looks out over the golf course. Exceptional banquet facilities (seating to 150) are available with specialized menus.

Nice day of golf with a few surprises
After booking tee time on line no mention of greens being aerated and not able to play the back nine due to more aeration . Did not know these conditions until I arrived at the course and had to play front nine twice . Still a very nice day on the course.
Very Nice Golf Course
We played the course for the first time. The pace of play was 4 hours. The course was in great shape. It is an absolutely beautiful setting with many ponds. We were so impressed by its beauty. The pro shop employees were really nice. The greens have heavy undulations and some fairways can be a little challenging. I would recommend playing it and will play it again next time I am in Bend.
Did not play. Canceled tee time. Extreme haze and smoke from forest fires, unable and unsafe to be outdoors or play golf.
Nice track
Tight fairways, tough greens & lots of trees offset lack of length. All pars have long & short holes
Top-Notch
First class facility and very welcoming staff. It was a busy Saturday and everything ran very smoothly. Pace of play was great, and the Beverage cart gal was very friendly as well. A+ experience from start to finish, we will definitely be back!
More expensive than pre covid years. The person at the front desk is rude. We encountered this same situation last year. I don't know what his problem is but we felt he was a jerk. Maybe we caught him on a bad day two years in a row. Maybe it is the covid.
Tight fairway makes for great golf
First time playing with you guys. Outstanding course both inside and out. We’ll maintained fairways and greens throughout! Can’t wait to see you again!!
Awesome course
First round is tough to score on, for me, because I don't know the layout. Next round I will know where I want to play from on my tee shots, so I will enjoy the place even more. Great course in my opinion, and I can't wait to go back.
Must Play
On a golf trip, six courses in eight days. This was my first. I booked Widgi based on online reviews and photos. If the others are as nice, and I expect they will be, this will be the best of a half dozen golf trips I've taken. Widgi is not a long course, accuracy is key. For me, the greens were tough. This is not a course for high handicappers. Th course was in excellent condition. I'd love to play this course regularly, but I live 800 miles away. Staff was great.
Need to be pretty accurate on your drives
Narrow fairways so drives need to be straight. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Marshall monitors play time regularly and we finished our round timely.

Great course but does not honor tee-time prices
We were rather surprised when tee-time said carts were 17$ and the course said that was wrong, they are 20$ each.
