Eagle Point Golf Course

Played after noon on Golfnow deal. From out of town visiting family. Great price for very good course. Good condition, except bunkers. The bunkers were very dry with crusty surface. Greens were in great condition, as was most of the course. A bit difficult not knowing the layout. I would score better if I played again as there are certain holes that local knowledge can make a big difference. All in all, very good, and I will play again in the future.

This is one of my favorite courses around and it is in great shape except for the bunkers, they are terrible. The last several times i have played here the bunkers have gone downhill. The sand is mixed in with the clay and they are either a mud hole or they have this crusty layer when they get wet and then dry out. It’s too bad because those bunkers are a huge part of that course it is kinda known for its well placed bunkers but now you might as well toss your ball out when you get in one that’s what most people do and they don’t rake them afterwards. So along with terrible sand you have to deal with an unraked bunker with footprints everywhere.

It was my first time playing this course. The condition of the course was great! Greens were well cared for and tee boxes were also in great condition. Lots of areas to get into trouble here as there is a good number of water hazards and bunkers on this course. Overall it was a very enjoyable day spent with friends and nothing to complain about with the course. Definitely a recommend and I will be back to play again.

This is a great course with exception of the bunkers, many of them are basically unplayable with either water, mud, not enough sand & just the overall condition of them. This seems like it should be an easy fix considering how much they charge for green fees. Everything else is solid. Snack shack was closed on a Saturday with 70 degree weather.

My brother and I play here 2-3 times a month and it’s always great, Logan is awesome at the front desk, Matt gives amazing swing lessons, and Kayla always takes care of us at the bar. The course is always well kept, only complaint is several of the bunkers are unplayable due to being hard as concrete, otherwise amazing place. This is my go to course

Course was in very good condition considering the past weather.

Greens were on the slow side.

I played this course in early March and the course was in surprisingly good condition. The greens were pretty firm and fast for this time of year. If they can make the course look this good in March after a wet winter, then they obviously put a lot of effort into course maintenance. I definitely recommend this course if you are in the area especially if you can get it on a GN hot deal.

Wife and I were rained out after 3 holes. but were giving a rain check for 18 holes. Great customer service

Played here on a whim while in the area to pick up my nephew from the airport. Got a great "hot deal" from GN. Course was in great shape, the greens were fast and very firm. Staff was friendly and overall a great experience.

I’ve always liked the course layout at Eagle Point. It’s challenging and diverse without being so hard to play that it’s frustrating. Playing rounds in the winter and spring are best for the weather. Mid summer is just way too hot. My suggestion to the grounds crew is ro take the bunkers. The sand was so heavy and compact that my low bounce 60 degree wedge couldn’t slide under my ball. I like that local residents near the course have their own unrestricted carts but etiquitte still needs to be applied. A few joy-riding non-playing carts racing along the cart path was slightly obnoxious.

The course layout is nicely done and normally expertly maintained. Snow just melted so they are playing catch up.

The man behind the front desk is to be avoided. We are talking arrogant !! Sure puts shade on the great course.

Staff in the restaurant must have been chosen by him, as they are seldom attentive to non-member customers, sometimes just losing your order or not bringing you things you asked for. Food is average now, used to be pretty good.

Just go for the golf only and you will not be disappointed.
