Greens were excellent,

Bunkers were hard packed dirt.

Lots of brown out/ bare spots on the fairways

Outstanding.

Layout outstanding greens just a total outstanding course

This is one of my favorite courses. That being said i gave it a pretty low rating strictly on the bunkers. They are horrible and have been for a while now. Pace of play was pretty bad also over 5 hrs. It is my fault for playing on a Saturday but still it was brutally slow. I almost quit after 9 but i had a pretty good round going.

Played after noon on Golfnow deal. From out of town visiting family. Great price for very good course. Good condition, except bunkers. The bunkers were very dry with crusty surface. Greens were in great condition, as was most of the course. A bit difficult not knowing the layout. I would score better if I played again as there are certain holes that local knowledge can make a big difference. All in all, very good, and I will play again in the future.

Beautiful course, favorite place in the Valley to play.

This is one of my favorite courses around and it is in great shape except for the bunkers, they are terrible. The last several times i have played here the bunkers have gone downhill. The sand is mixed in with the clay and they are either a mud hole or they have this crusty layer when they get wet and then dry out. It’s too bad because those bunkers are a huge part of that course it is kinda known for its well placed bunkers but now you might as well toss your ball out when you get in one that’s what most people do and they don’t rake them afterwards. So along with terrible sand you have to deal with an unraked bunker with footprints everywhere.
