Unexpected gem
Played here on a whim while in the area to pick up my nephew from the airport. Got a great "hot deal" from GN. Course was in great shape, the greens were fast and very firm. Staff was friendly and overall a great experience.
Is the price increase worth it at EP?
I’ve always liked the course layout at Eagle Point. It’s challenging and diverse without being so hard to play that it’s frustrating. Playing rounds in the winter and spring are best for the weather. Mid summer is just way too hot. My suggestion to the grounds crew is ro take the bunkers. The sand was so heavy and compact that my low bounce 60 degree wedge couldn’t slide under my ball. I like that local residents near the course have their own unrestricted carts but etiquitte still needs to be applied. A few joy-riding non-playing carts racing along the cart path was slightly obnoxious.

The course layout is nicely done and normally expertly maintained. Snow just melted so they are playing catch up.
The man behind the front desk is to be avoided. We are talking arrogant !! Sure puts shade on the great course.
Staff in the restaurant must have been chosen by him, as they are seldom attentive to non-member customers, sometimes just losing your order or not bringing you things you asked for. Food is average now, used to be pretty good.
Just go for the golf only and you will not be disappointed.

Great coarse
Being in January the coarse was in excellent condition.
Would be 5 star if Bunkers had Sand
Fun course with enough challenges and carries. Greens in great shape but bunkers are in name only, no sand
Great course value.
I happened to be in the area for work and booked for 40 dollars with cart. Practice facilities are great. Course condition is great. The course does have very unique features and as a first timer needed my playing partners to help out some. Highly recommend having an app going to show the course layout as you play. Felt like I could have played 3x as much to play the same course. Nearly no one out there on a Wednesday afternoon either.
