Almost all the greens are dead on the front 9 the back 9 is better but not much. Course layout is fine have no problems with is but the greens for that price not worth it.

This is my favorite KY public state park course. Great layout and beautiful course. I thoroughly enjoyed the round. It was reasonably difficult and I shot one of my best scores of the year on the course. This is a great value for the money.

Staff was really great—very friendly and helpful. Course was in very good condition for mid-August in Kentucky except for most greens, which were in bad shape, with lots of bare spots and pock marks.

Strengths:

Good layout

Friendly staff

Fast play

Pretty in spots

Most holes forgiving for sprayers

Weaknesses:

Sand traps filled with gravel

Some greens (from memory about 4 holes) are sparsely covered with grass

Back 9 was enjoyable. Front 9 greens were rough, and I’m not sure what’s up with the gravel bunkers. The lake on the front 9 stinks pretty bad as well, but luckily you just have to drive by it a few times.

the greens had a few bad places in them they look bad but they putted good was quick they had a tournament the day we played but we finish in a little over 4 hrs fairway and rough was mowed good they are working fixing several sand bunkers like i said the greens looked rough but still a great place to play

Course was in good shape considering recent rains. Could have used a little more roll. Greens were above average with som blotchy spot away from the pins. Staff was friendly. Challenging course with some hills around greens. Will play again.

Beautiful Course with excellent layout. Greens were in need of a little work but ball generally rolled true. Will recommend to friends. Only issue was playing behind a six-some for most of round. Need active course Marshall’s.

Need a marshall, there was a group of 5 paying in fron of us .... way too slow.

Layout has lots of character. Greens were in pretty good shape and when that is the case this course is really fun. Must hit it straight. Makes you think.

The course was in amazing shape, fairways were freshly mowed and the greens were very nice as well. I loved playing there because the fairways were quite generous and challenging at times and I didn’t go through 14 balls trying to find them in the neverending rough. If you can get one of their weekdays hot deals for $24, it’s a no brainer. Highly recommend
